
– April new watercolor month challenge: Spring Things!
Today I am sharing stage two “Watercolor” of my new painting. This is a work in progress! In my previous post I shared the pencil sketch. If you missed my post, I am creating a “Blythe Art Doll Portrait” this portrait feature “Butterflies and Flowers”, they represent life and transformation. Still work to do for this painting.

***I still don’t have a title for this painting, I am thinking about things and meanings, your suggestions are always welcome!

Details about my Sketch and watercolor:
I Sketched on a mixed media large sketchbook size 9 x 11 inches and I used a Draft/Matic Pencil 0.3mm Mab Graves Limited Edition by ALVIN, a Carmine Red Pencil THINEX 425T (Vintage) – I used French Artists Watercolors Sennelier l’Aguarelle,

Awww thank you Charlie I am happy that you like it! I am in a big debate for this one, do I add the ink outline or not, maybe just minimal with fine lines or leave it as pure watercolor? What do you think? 😉

It looks lovely as is! I like the softness of the pure watercolor. But ink lines would give it a more graphic look, so it’s really just a question of what look you prefer! 😉
