The Summer Solstice, this year is occurring today June 21st, marks the longest day of the year and the official start of Summer. It’s a time when the sun reaches its highest point in the sky, bathing us in powerful light and warmth. Celebrating the Summer Solstice at home can be a beautiful and spiritually enriching experience. Let’s explore some meaningful ways to honor this occasion and understand its spiritual significance and energetic effects.

Spiritual Meaning of the Summer Solstice

The Summer Solstice is a time of abundance, growth, and renewal. It symbolizes the peak of energy, vitality, and light. Spiritually, it is a powerful moment to reflect on personal growth, set new intentions, and connect deeply with the natural world. The heightened energy of this day can amplify our aspirations and help us align with our highest potential.

Embracing Nature: My Journey with Ink Drawing on Eucalyptus Bark

Ink on Eucaliptus Bark

I’m excited to share with you a unique creation that holds a special place in my heart. A black and white ink drawing crafted on a stunning piece of Eucalyptus tree bark. This project has been a wonderful journey, one that has pushed my creativity to new heights and deepened my appreciation for the natural world.

The Beauty of Natural Canvases
Exploring the textures and contours of natural materials is a fascinating endeavor. Each piece of bark, leaf, or stone carries its own ancient history and character and working with these materials requires a different kind of artistic sensitivity. The Eucalyptus bark, with its rich texture and intricate patterns, offers a unique challenge and an unparalleled canvas. It demands attention to detail and a thoughtful approach, as the natural grooves and lines guide the flow of the ink, shaping the artwork in unexpected and delightful ways.

The Magic of Transformation
There’s something truly magical about transforming a piece of nature into a work of art. When I first laid eyes on this piece of Eucalyptus bark, I saw beyond its surface, I saw potential. I love to create my Christmas Drawings one year in advance while participating to very inspiring art challenges occurring during the month of December. You might see some of the drawings when I post my entries but since the time is so close to Christmas I don’t release them for sale until the next year! Sometimes during the challenge I have a Flash Sale for two days only where is possible to buy prints of the new drawings! After that you have to wait to the next December when the Official Release occur. This year I am going to release five new drawings created last December 2022 during the “12 Day Winter Draw” art challenge! The Official Release of the Limited Edition Prints is happening right now they are available in my ETSY SHOP

❤ I updated and restocked the Shop with the New Christmas Art you will find lots of my watercolor art prints available in two sizes 8×10 or 5×7 inches there is new and older work! Included also my landscapes series.
