Day 5 drawing took long time to finish it! Sorry I am posting here on the Blog a day late, yesterday I was only able to post it on Instagram! It took me a good time brainstorming to come up with an original idea that will combine the two prompts Build and Huntress nicely and not showing just my huntress building her bows but she carries two bows the bigger one symbolize that she is also a bowyer a craftsman who makes bows and an huntress in the drawing she is trying out her bows . The fine line work and all the details takes patience and time I am not rushing this series, each drawing has my heart and soul and I want it to be a beautiful series.

I used mostly brown ink, black ink on the bigger bow and arrow and a touch of gold no watercolor this time! I love the precision and cleaness and I decided to do not add color!

Today drawing is ethereal and surrealistic it took long time to finish it! There is lots of detail work in these drawings especially my latest three! Today I have used black and white inks! It was challenging to combine prompts in a interesting and original way and I am very happy with what I did! Today I used black and white inks and watercolor for my “Candelabra lady” almost a kind of Snow Queen in the freezing snow wearing candles on her shoulders a icicle crown and a forest dress 🖤❄️❄️❄️🖤 I added one of my older quotes that in my opinion fits pretty well with the drawing. I hope you like it!

Today drawing is another scene with soft color tones and a hint of Victorian – Gothic style in brown ink I am liking drawing these! prompts are Bait an Bat and I wanted to create something more ethereal than creepy! So the girl in my drawing is a nature and bat lover she love to feed the bats at dusk wearing a skirt made of leaves, she is able to communicate with bats, they are spirit animals and they symbolize free spirit trusting in vibrations and inner guidance. They are special and beautiful creatures.

Today drawing is almost a dreamy scene with soft tones of darkness, evoking elements that brings together the two prompts Mindless and Catacombs with a hint of Victorian – Gothic style. I made the drawing in brown ink with a final touch of watercolor and like for day 1 I wrote another quote that complete the drawing. I hope it will speak to you ❤

Happy October! Let’s welcome the Fall Season that brings a lots of creativity and great art challenges. This is a full month of daily drawings!
Inktober begins today!
I am happy I made my first drawing starting this exciting new series! Once again I combined the prompts of my two favorite challenges.
Today my Vampire drawing is mostly created in red and black inks only a little splash of watercolor. This month you will see more dark themed art in my drawings cause the “mabsdrawlloweenclub challenge has prompts inspired by darkness and Halloween theme. It’s always interesting to see the way I can adapt my style! Each year I give myself a goal about what I want to experiment or work on during this month, last year was “Textures”, this year would be mostly “Inks and toned color papers” you will see a variety of interesting drawings. I hope you like my vision of Vampire she is not as bloody and violent as traditional vampires. Day #31 THE END! Today is last drawing for the double challenges. I am happy with my series and Collection and I am happy that for the third year I have been able to go strong until last day! So today I am celebrating for the great ending ❤ and I congratulate with all the other artists around the world that have participated and made it to the end, right now we have a wonderful series of 31 drawings! I also want to congratulate with everyone that participated for the first time and also with who didn’t make it to the end but enjoyed the process of creativity it’s ok! Today last day prompts are Slice and Frankenstein, as you can see my drawing is a surrealistic portrait of a sliced Frankenstein to celebrate his 200 Birthday! Here in USA today is Halloween so I wish you all a safe and great Halloween Day wherever you are and thank you so much for following me and my journey! Your support means everything! ❤

Day #30 Today prompts, for Inktober is Jolt and the other challenge prompt is dedicated to The Bride, still celebrating Frankenstein, mabsdrawlloweenclub challenge is more oriented to Halloween style and dark art drawings so The Bride is a prompt that is always included. Today I wanted to do something different and more ink pen drawing I have created a three position face of the Bride for the prompt “Jolt” and only added a touch of watercolor for a background shade, the faces are all black and white using only pens. I cannot believe tomorrow is last day! ❤

Day #29 Today prompts are very interesting, because one of them is dedicated to Novelist Mary Shelley, best known for her Gothic novel “Frankenstein” here it is my portrait of her in my style. I have created a double view of her since Inktober prompt is double and of course Frankenstein is a must in this portrait because this year last October 3, 2018 celebrates its 200th birthday! So Happy Birthday Mr. Frankenstein!

Day #27 For today prompts Thunder and Swamp Thing I had to brainstorm a little, because how do you draw a thunder? Think about it! Is not easy and I had to do the combination with a Swamp creature, of course everything has lots to do with water. First of all, I decided for the stormy tones of grays and purple and I wanted drawing a nice figure and not a monster swamp thing. The girl in my drawing represents the swamp creature and she is the “Storm Queen” as she carries on her head a cloud with lighting and thunders! Sure I had fun drawing! Let me know your opinion!
