Today I will have two posts this one is yesterday painting, it is another off prompt my title is “Peaceful”. I love nature and animals they can be amazing companions! Yesterday I wasn’t at home but I carried my essential to paint and I managed to paint while in a nice coffee place sipping a delicious coffee! 😉 Later on today I will post my Day 15 which is a work in progress right now!

Details about my watercolor paintings:
My watercolors is outlined with black and white ink pens. I used French Artists Watercolors Sennelier l’Aguarelle, Ink pens used COPIC Multiliner Black ink #03 and 05 . A Alvin Draft/Matic #03 Limited Edition Pink Mab Graves Pencil. Pentel Aqua Brush – I painted on Bee Paper for watercolor 140lb, 100% cotton, cold pressed, size 6×9 inches .

Today painting is an off prompt and my title is “Unseen” I hope that you like this piece it was one of those days where I had to deal with not being greatly satisfied with what I was painting! But in the end I am ok with the way it turned out! Maybe it is just me today having an odd day or being too critical to myself. I started this painting having not idea of what to paint, then I wanted to stay on my path for this series of portraits that I am making! Then I just started to put colors quickly on the paper and let the water flow and here it is…that’s art life!

Today prompt is “Beach Days” I can’t believe I made day 10 these paintings are not sketches they have lots of pen work and details they take a lot of time but this year I wanted to set my goal pretty high for myself, it is a challenge inside the challenge that I am doing daily. I really want to have a great collection of paintings at the end of the month. For today painting I wanted to create an underwater vision, I love the world under the ocean. In my past I got scuba diving certified and had beautiful visions and experiences under the sea!

This is a late post and this painting is for the prompt “Cooling Off” since I took the photo in evening, the light wasn’t great sorry about that, but I will retake the photo tomorrow with daylight and make a switch with a better photo on this post! This painting is a watercolor and graphite her face is graphite I like the combination! This painting since has birds is also my monthly entry for #drawabirdday .

Today painting is an off prompt! I decide instead to paint a tribute portrait to Surrealist Artist “Frida Kahlo” this is a commemorative month since yesterday was her birthday. Artist all over the world are giving their tribute. I made my portrait in my style but something a little different from my usual, it has the Surrealist touch, I painted inspired by her life story and by several of her original paintings like ” Self-Portrait With Bonito -1941″, “The Broken Column -1944”, “The Deer Wondered – 1946″, ” Elements like flowers, animals, arrows and internal body parts are often appearing in her paintings as her creative and unique way of artistic expression.

Frida Kahlo mostly painted self portraits one of her famous quotes says: “I paint self-portraits because I am so often alone, because I am the person I know best”

Today painting prompt is “On The Boardwalk” this is a very nice prompt to illustrate. I love the ocean and I always loved a relaxing walk on the boardwalk, feeling the ocean breeze and loose my sight in the horizon looking at the beautiful sky, enjoying the company of the Seagulls and often have them coming really close! My painting remind me these lovely moments!
