Day #26 World Watercolor Month
This post is for two days Day #26/31 of the World Watercolor Month Today painting is a Study of a Seahorse. I painted the same seahorse on two different papers one is on white paper with light washes of colors and outlined with a brown ink pen. The result is a delicate and ethereal Seahorse.

Day #27 World Watercolor Month
Day #27/31 Today to do something different for my study, I painted the same seahorse on a black paper. First I painted some of the background with rich pigmented colors. The effect change dramatically. This time after the background was dry I draw the seahorse with a white gel pen. And I really like how it looks!

Details about my watercolors:
watercolors are outlined with brown and white ink pens. I used French Artists Watercolors Sennelier l’Aguarelle 12 demi-godets half-pans travel metal box and Pigma Micron Brown ink #01 painted over a Mixed Media Sketchbook! For Day #26 I outlined with a white Signo Uni-ball Angelic gel pen and painted over a black paper.

Gorgeous, and the dark one is so unusual, like he is emerging from the depths of the deep dark sea 😀

Hiya Carolina > How’s it going these days? Your techniques go really well with the sea horse; really fluid. I feel like the dark horse is way down in the depths of the ocean. Nice work mate!

I’m glad you did a pair of sea horses. Honestly its been a terrible week and still going through stuff Carolina as our family has had a major bereavement this week. I was going to do a post about it as I went to the Lama temple for prayer yesterday but when I sat at the computer it didnt feel right. I think I’ll just post an excerpt from the book to fill the gap. Planning the trip now and off the story-boarding. Only managed to do five of eight books. My brain gave way after that LOL. Its Friday > meet and greet day?????
