Day #4 World Watercolor Month 2017

Today painting prompt is “Red, White, and Blue” and here in USA we are celebrating the 4th of July “Independence Day” I managed to make this painting portrait with the limited palette of the three watercolors and a touch of gold on her lips! I am glad I was able to paint before the fireworks later on tonight! 😉 Have a wonderful Happy 4th of July! ❤
Details about my watercolor paintings:
My watercolors is outlined with black and white ink pens. Gold Jelly Roll pen. I used French Artists Watercolors Sennelier l’Aguarelle, Ink pens used COPIC Multiliner Black ink #03 and 05 . A Alvin Draft/Matic #03 Limited Edition Pink Mab Graves Pencil. Pentel Aqua Brush – I painted on Bee Paper for watercolor 140lb, 100% cotton, cold pressed, size 6×9 inches .

I like the drops of colors. We did that last week, by hitting the paint brush on the hand (finger). Last year, we used a toothbrush. All the painting are very nice. We are painting the house – different kind of painting. Take some of my time from blogging!!

Thank you, my husband decided to work 4-5 hours a day, before he gets tired. So it may take quite a few day to paint 4 (out of 7) rooms, 2 hall ways and a stairway!

Yes it is some work to do the house is pretty big! Well is good to enjoy the process and not overdue so that your husband has some time!

He knows himself well. When he is tired, he is easy to get frustrated. Then it wouldn’t be fun to make the house look nice!
