– MUSHROOMS –
Today following November watercolor prompt list is “MUSHROOMS” I am joining whenever I can doodlewash for November Adventure!
I was very happy to paint this one, because I love mushrooms not just to look at their colors and beautiful shapes, there are so many kinds I love to look at some wonderful botanical illustrations. Mushrooms are a very beautiful subject for nature inspired watercolor paintings. My painting has the colors of the Fall Season. I directly painted with the watercolors without previously tracing with pencil, I just painted the shapes straight on the paper. I combined the mushrooms with leaves and acorns. I loved the after washes ink drawing, like in a second layer I created the leaves and the acorns.
Editable mushrooms also are filled with lots of nutrients and are a great source of vitamins and minerals very good for our health in a daily diet. I eat them a lot and mostly raw in a variety of salads and also I love to eat the big Portobello Mushrooms. I used to cook them in many delicious ways, but right now that I follow a raw vegetarian-vegan diet, the big Portobello ones are amazing raw topped with some avocados, chopped tomatoes, hummus and more there are lots of tasty options for a wonderful Mushroom sandwich! ❤
