– Winter Wonderland – Day 15  TREE

Winter Wonderland 31 Days 31 Paintings Challenge!!!

Today is day 15/31 Charlie’s  prompt list says  “TREE”  I am joining  doodlewash  we are at half way to complete this challenge what a beautiful month for this Winter Wonderland!

I loved to paint my Christmas Tree! To make it look beautiful and tall I had to open flat my tiny sketchbook and I painted on two pages it would be the center piece of my sketchbook since we are half way! In many parts of United States and in Europe it’s storm time with heavy snow and cold! Right now at the moment is 4.30pm here in California and today is raining it is not quite like a beautiful Christmas time snow 😉 but at least for the feeling I painted my tree in the snow!

Details about my watercolors:
 watercolors are outlined with black and white ink pens. I used  French Artists Watercolors  Sennelier  l’Aguarelle 12 demi-godets half-pans travel metal box  Ink pens used  Pigma Micron Black ink #02, white Uni-ball Signo gel pen and a black ink  Pilot Prera fountain pen fine nib . I painted on a small 3.5 x 5.5 inches mixed media sketchbook.

      5. We had one day of snowfall in November. But all was gone the next day (thank God… lol). No snow so far but gorgeous weather (with chilling temperatures) all December except today. It has been foggy all day 😊

      7. First it needs a new room in a different apartment which I have to find yet …. I want to hang it in a special surrounding. It may still take quite some time but you will receive a picture as soon as it hangs 😉
