In this Digital Art creation I wanted to emphasize the fascinating beauty of the full moon, positioning the moon in a surreal place, down on the earth, like it is almost possible to touch it. I combined the beautiful natural elements, of a forest with a water stream embracing the glowing moon. I always love to gaze at the moon, it is very inspiring and so fascinating.
I want to thank you so much HeavyCloud for your kindness on letting me use one of your wonderful and precious photos, this full moon. When I saw this stunning photo on your Blog I felt that I wanted to create one of my Digital Art paintings with it. And here it is the moon is the main element in my creation Grazie!
May the wings of the butterfly kiss the sun
And find your shoulder to light on,
To bring you luck, happiness and riches
Today, tomorrow and beyond. ~Irish Blessing~
I loved to discover this Irish Blessing the words are so beautiful to frame my Digital Artwork. The Butterflies Symbolism means a lot in my life that I have a tattoo representing them. I had this tattoo some years ago while going through a very difficult stage of my life were needed transformation and changes.
My Tattoo
Butterflies are a wonderful way to connect our Soul with the Nature.
In the Animals Symbolism they means Transformation and Metamorphosis, their stages of transformation can be related with our life stages and phases. The way we change, and grow through life experiences, being able to renew our inner soul and letting go the old to welcome the new changes. The butterfly metamorphosis can teach us that growth and change, goes together and doesn’t have to be a traumatic passage and experience our constant in life is that we are always evolving and that we have to keep faith to be able to blossom in our final transformation. Butterflies are also associated with freedom, grace, elegance, beauty, transition, expression, growth and more… I just love them and the life lesson they can teach us!

It was a warm sunny day and sea was a almost transparent shade of blue.
I lay there, watching the waves lap on the shore, a drink in hand, a tear rolling down my cheek.
I stand up yelling at that boy who threw this load of sand into my eyes and my drink when he jumped over me.
I then grabbed my water gun, running fast after him, I was laughing, he was jumping over people to escape.

Today I am going to Reblog this post from one of my awesome followers HeavyCloud. As an Artist I love to Sketch, Paint, Drawing and Creating my Jewelry designs often while listening music. I love music most of it but not everything. It has to capture my inner soul that sometimes is Dark and deep or happy and lightening or calm and fluid like water…these mood are usually when I am creative as the best! Today I am sketching new designs for my jewelry collection and I am listenig this awesome music…warning it’s deep and dark…but great! :-)
Music is an important part of our lives, and a crucial part of mine. That’s why I’d like to share this song with you. Be patient, the song builds up slowly and the voice only comes in at 8:36…
I hope that you will accept to take the time, close your eyes and let me take you with me. And I really hope you will enjoy this small journey.
Much love.
Your humble guide, HeavyCloud

Turn my head
The hurt’s relentless The hurt of emptiness The hurt of wanting The hurt of going on The hurt of missing The hurt is killing me
This post is my testimony for a one of a kind event. Yesterday, I had the privilege to attend one of the best concerts featuring legendary Joe Satriani and Steve Vai. Also performing was Tosin Abasi from Animals as Leaders!
It was a magical evening where some of the best guitarrist in the world were playing their amazing music and gave us the gift to see them performing together. This concert also had a great cause. It was a benefit concert in support of Cliff Cultreri their good friend and music-industry veteran. Cultreri is the A&R executive who “discovered” Satriani, Vai and other great artists while working at Relativity Records and Koch Entertainment. Cultreri is suffering from a host of auto-immune and connective-tissue disorders simultaneously attacking his immune system, it is a 1 in 100 million occurrence causing severe pain and debilitating. Joe Satriani and Steve Vai got together to host benefit shows for Cultreri in the years 2006 and 2011, this concert in 2015 is the third one for the cause. This show, “A Benefit for Cliff III” took place at 8 p.m. on June 12 at the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles … And now I can say I was there!!! Ohhh…I am so glad I was! :-)
I witnessed three and half hours of an exciting and amazing concert!
Something unique that I know it would be one of a kind in my concerts book!!!
I love music and I have been lucky to have seen many of my favorite bands and artists during my life!
Not all of them, but still many that I would love to see. I went to concerts whenever I could and I have unforgettable memories.
Our day started yesterday at 3.30pm, we headed over to the PCH (Pacific Coast Highway) going to Los Angeles. The weather was just perfect a little overcast on the coastline. We had a wonderful ocean view while travelling.
I took some photos with my phone :-)
On the road…. PCH – Pacific Coast Highway
Almost there!
We arrived in Los Angeles! Getting closer to the Wiltern Theatre , getting very exciting!
This is the Pellissier Building and adjoining Wiltern Theatre a beautiful 1930 Art Deco architecture considered one of the finest examples in United States.
It was a wonderful experience for me as Artist to see the beauty of this historical theatre. This Concert was not just a concert, it was also an amazing place. The more I looked around the more I felt I was back in time. I was imagining how many shows have been hosted in such great place. The ceiling is amazing and decorated with dramatic Art Deco elements. The walls inside the Theatre featured shapes of flowers artistically painted! Outside the entrance… This stunning Art Deco element is on the ceiling outside the entrance.
Time is getting close. We are in line to check-in…the line was pretty long, all the way to the other side to the Wiltern Theatre.
And finally inside! The stage is great, the atmosphere is exciting. I love concerts hosted in theatres. I like because it is less dispersive than the Stadiums. There are different atmospheres and way to perceive the music and the artists.
Joe Satriani and Steve Vai along with the other artists have donated items to be auctioned during the event including autographed guitars. The Concert starting at 8pm…
The first to perform and open the evening are the Animals as Leaders. I discovered them just recently. They play Instrumental Abstract Jazz Metal (this is my definition for their music) the official definition is “Instrumental Progressive Metal” they are able to change their sounds in different directions.
Animals as Leaders Joe Satriani and Steve Vai Note: I am not the owner of those two photos I don’t know the photographers names (Copyright Photo Credits goes to their original owners)
The show started on time and the Animals as Leaders performed for almost an hour. The second performance was legendary guitarrist Steve Vai. He has a great stage presence along with his music. He let his finger flying on his guitar as he always did, one word… amazing!
Then Joe Satrianiwalked on stage. That’s when the planet turned to hear the pure sound from his guitar. His music is just stunning! I have a preference for him because I love the sound of his amazing guitar, it is different and unique that’s why I describe it as “Pure”. He is not only a guitarist but a multi-instrumentalist. Satriani is considered to be a highly technical guitarist in the world and referred to as a top guitar virtuoso.
He also has Italian descends which makes me very happy! :-)
Joe Satriani played for long time his wonderful pieces. After two-hour and a half concert, Joe brought back on stage Steve Vai and Tosin Abasi lead guitar from the Animals as Leaders to have a jam session. That was super great to see them play all together! Very unique occasion performing a Frank Zappa song. Also a wonderful Tribute to the greatest B.B. King. This concert has been 3 hours and half of unforgettable music. I am very happy and pleased to be able to say “I was there!!!”

My phone couldn’t record the sound as I would’ve loved to. But I found some videos recorded from this concert. Thanks to Cal Vid you can enjoy and have a part of this unforgettable event with me! <3
0ften I get questions about my jewelry photographs. What inspire me to showcase my creations the way I do. As you can see from some of the photos posted from the beginning of this Blog I love photography! Yes I really do! I love that I can catch the moment and it will stay forever with a beautiful photo. That alone it is very inspiring to me. Awakening that instinctive creativity guided from my inner soul to get a great shot. I consider Photography another great Artistic way of expression and I love to use photos for my Digital Art. In Photography I am an “Amateur” if I can say that :-) <3
I love to stage and take all the photos for my Jewelry Design you can see them in the gallery Jewelry Portfolio. Each photo is inspired by the moment, by the Jewel itself and by the story behind my creation. When I stage a photo I love to add natural elements like stones, leaves, fossils, flowers. I take all the photos without flash. I like the natural light, some photos are staged outdoors and some indoor. When I am outdoor I wait that the sun go almost down like a pre-sunset light, or I wait for some cloudy days for a more soft light. I just love the whole creative process and I hope that you enjoy all my photos!
During the weekend I went to this wonderful place here, where I took some beautiful photos. I was immersed in the pure wilderness of the nature. I enjoyed this peaceful and silent place between the ancient old Oaks Trees!
My inspiration lead me to use one of the beautiful photos to create this Digital Art painting!
I hope that looking at this creation you can feel that peace…
