Welcome November!
During last few days I had a little break from painting to relax my mind and recharge after the full creative month of October!
The 31 days drawing INKTOBER challenge is a commitment and I wanted to stay focused during the whole month, without missing a day. It was my plan from the beginning to use Inktober to create a new drawing series and collection inspired by the prompts. The 31 drawings are available in my Shop as Limited Edition Prints. If you had your eyes on a drawing visit my Gallery and If you missed my October posts, or you’re new on my Blog, you can see and order prints of my Inktober drawings visiting my Gallery, I am happy I made it to the end without missing days. I thank you for following my Inktober and for your on going support and encouragement.
I cannot believe we are already in November, where the time goes?
Here in US where I live the weather still warm and feels not really Fall, is actually more of a “Summer” weather and is nice to spend outdoors evenings until last. These days we’re having intense sunsets in Southern California. Yesterday on my evening walk I took this video, for you to see the beauty and feel the magic of the sky! The intense color was overwhelming! What a great gift from nature! I am happy I was able to witness this sunset and capture this video. I love to share it with you, in hope to brighten your day where ever you are!
Note: No edit were made on the video, no filter, the colors are just as I took it with my iPhone!

I hope you enjoyed the sunset and until next post
I wish you a wonderful day or night.

Today weekly photo challenge for The Daily Post theme is ““I’d Rather Be…” and my answer is Creating!
I love to create my art and express my creativity in many different ways, I am a full-time artist and I love what I do. For me there is not much of “I’d rather be” because I try to create art every day! I am a watercolor painter, an illustrator and jewelry designer, I love photography and digital photo manipulations. I also like to write poems, haiku and short stories.
My watercolor painting series are all available in Limited Edition Signed Fine Art Prints.
This is me on the beach in action with my camera trying to capture the moment…
This is one of my photos I love the ocean, sunsets and stormy skies
I love to create photo manipulations and I have created a Collection titled “When Nature Meets Humans” this Portrait title is “Proud” I like the Concept to mix Nature with Humans and create a unique One of a kind Digital Portraits. This is my evolving idea and concept to combining the beauty of Nature with Humans telling a story in the form of Visual-Art, combining and blending a number of different photos in one unique portrait. Each photo has a meaning that tell the Portrait story. You can see more of this collection here and in this Gallery.
Nature is my biggest inspiration in everything I create…
I also love to create jewelry for my “Among Nature” Jewelry Collection.
The nature is my greatest inspiration for my Jewelry Designs. I often use found in nature objects hand-picked by me in special places I visit. All my creations are made using only beautiful natural gemstones, seashells, fossils, woods, bone and crystals which I combine with precious and semi precious metals.
Sometimes I write when words are whispered to my soul…this is one of my poems
Hands
Artist precious hands,
intensity and love givers.
Hands guided by a heart pulse,
forging and hammering metals,
holding precious stones.
Inspiration from the soul,
happiness and art givers,
emotions in a motion of senses.
stroking brushes fulfilled with passion,
dripping water on white paper,
splashes of colors take forms.
Ink tears into the unknown
a creation is born.

Today post is about Photography!
It is a long time since I have participated to the weekly photo challenge. The Daily Post theme for this week it is very interesting and inspiring and is “Out Of This World”. This week, share a picture that takes us on a journey into the unknown.
As an artist I feel that I am very often out of this world, while working on my watercolor paintings, creating my art. Inspiration and creativity can take you in many places where imagination rules into the unknown. I enjoy the journey following my dreams and looking forward to see where they will take me.
The photo I am sharing today for this challenge, is another gorgeous Southern California sunset. I took this photo days ago during an evening hike. The colors of this sunset were spectacular and I haven’t touched or edited this photo, no filter has been used, it is just as I took it!
When shooting this photo, I really wanted to capture something different and unusual. I love to experiment and take photos in different and unexpected angle, using the camera in strange and unusual positions. When I went home, l have been looking at all the photos I took that day, this one stood out to me for the beautiful intense colors, the contrast with the dark, the layers of clouds in the sky forming straight lines at the horizon. My angle shooting position created this high contrast and a diagonal effect between the orange sky and the dark land. Transforming a familiar sunset in something different. When I look at the photo from distance make me think an imaginary sunset from another planet! Try to step away from your chair and look at the photo from distance, what do you see? I am really curious to know, please leave comments!

Today I came across the post of the weekly photo challenge at The Daily Post and also if this is the theme for last Wednesday April 19 and tomorrow would be a new theme, I still want to participate to this one, with one of my latest photo and share the beauty of nature with you all.
From The Daily Post: The theme for this week is “Earth” celebrating the Earth Day and our planet. This week, share an image that means “earth” to you — whether it’s a panorama of a landscape that takes your breath away, a close-up revealing a detail in nature, or another scene that honors the outdoors, we welcome your takes on the theme!
The photo I am sharing today is a beautiful Southern California sunset filled with lovely yellow flowers. I took this photo some days ago during my daily evening hike. I love my walk at sunset time it give me the opportunity to take beautiful photos of sunsets and fierce colored skies. California is a wonderful place for sunset photography no matter where you are if on the hills or near the ocean. This photo was taken on the hills of a trail I love to go. The nature here is beautiful lately especially after all the rain we had a month ago, everything turned out beautifully green a joy for the eyes since here often the hills looks yellow brownish and dry.
I enjoyed my walk a lot lately with these beautiful kind of evenings, but this week is already getting too warm and everything is already changing color.
When I took this photo, I really wanted to capture all the elements that makes our earth beautiful, the orange fierce sunset sky, the clouds, the land and the flowers. I almost felt I was creating one of my paintings, I had a clear idea of how I wanted the photo to be. To get this angle for my shot I had to almost laying on the ground! Turned out exactly what I’ve envisioned! I hope that you enjoy this portrait of nature as symbol of our precious Earth as much as I do.
