Perpetual: Exploring the Consciousness of Water

Perpetual

To all my friends and followers,

As devastating fires rage across Southern California,  my heart is with everyone impacted by this terrible tragedy. I am blessed that my location is safe. May those affected find strength, safety, and hope in these challenging times. Let us all hold space for healing and extend love and support to our communities. Please take a minute of silence send love and vibrations of protection to this land and the people.

Sending healing energy. Stay safe, and take care of one another.

Today I want to talk about Water,  has long been considered one of the most mysterious and life sustaining elements on Earth. Its presence connects all living beings, and its movements reflect the rhythm of life itself. In my recent watercolor seascape titled “Perpetual,” from my Fields and Waters Collection I sought to capture not only the physical beauty of water but also its deeper, spiritual significance.

This piece is inspired by the idea that water holds a consciousness a memory of ancient times, of whispered stories and forgotten wisdom and carries them forward in an endless cycle of movement and flow. Let’s dive deeper into the fascinating concept of water consciousness and the profound lessons it can teach us.

The Consciousness of Water

Scientists and spiritual seekers alike have explored the idea that water has a form of consciousness. Dr. Masaru Emoto’s groundbreaking work demonstrated how water crystals respond to thoughts, words, and vibrations. Through his experiments, he showed that positive intentions and harmonious sounds created beautiful, symmetrical crystals, while negative energy led to chaotic and fractured patterns. These findings suggest that water is not just a passive element but an active participant in the world around us, absorbing and reflecting the energy it encounters.

On a spiritual level, water is believed to hold memories, serving as a vessel for the energies and information of the past. Its perpetual flow symbolizes the continuity of life and the unbroken connection between generations. When we engage with water, whether through art, meditation, or simple observation, we tap into this ancient well of wisdom.

Ancient Knowledge and the Element of Water

Throughout history, water has been revered as a sacred element in many cultures. Ancient civilizations viewed it as a bridge between the physical and spiritual realms. From the holy rivers of India to the purification rituals of Indigenous peoples, water has always been a symbol of cleansing, renewal, and connection.

The idea that water retains information aligns with the belief that it carries the essence of the places it has traveled. Oceans, rivers, and rain carry the energy of the earth, the heavens, and all that they touch. This energy is imprinted within the water itself, forming an invisible record of the planet’s history.

When we look at the ocean’s waves, we are witnessing the heartbeat of the earth, a movement that has continued for millennia. These waves remind us of the cyclical nature of existence, birth, growth, and renewal and encourage us to reflect on our own connection to the world.

Water, Frequency, and the Power of Vibration

Everything in the universe vibrates, and water is a powerful medium for carrying vibrations. Sound waves, for example, travel four times faster in water than in air. This unique property makes water an extraordinary conductor of frequency and energy.

On a spiritual level, this means water can amplify intentions, healing energy, and meditative practices. By meditating near water or incorporating water into spiritual rituals, we can align ourselves with its natural frequencies, enhancing our connection to the universe.

Art, too, is a form of vibration. When I painted “Perpetual” I was mindful of the rhythm of my brushstrokes, the flow of the watercolors, and the energy I infused into the piece. My intention was to echo the movement and consciousness of water, creating a visual representation of its perpetual memory and wisdom.

Lessons from the Ocean

The ocean teaches us many lessons:

  • Resilience: Like water, we can adapt to obstacles, flowing around them and continuing forward.

  • Interconnection: Water reminds us that everything is connected. The drop of rain that falls today may become part of the ocean tomorrow.

  • Presence: The rhythm of the waves invites us to be present, to breathe with the tides and find calm within the chaos.

By contemplating these lessons, we can gain a deeper understanding of ourselves and our place in the world. Water, with its ancient wisdom and ceaseless flow, encourages us to think beyond the surface and connect with the deeper currents of life.

My watercolor “Perpetual “ is more than a painting; it is a reflection on the spiritual and energetic essence of water. It invites viewers to consider the consciousness of this vital element and its role in our lives. Water carries the stories of the past and flows forward, offering us wisdom, healing, and connection.

As part of your daily routine, consider taking a moment to bless your water before drinking it. Hold your glass with intention, close your eyes, and express gratitude for its life giving properties. You can set a positive affirmation such as, “May this water bring me peace, clarity, and energy.” Visualize the water absorbing your intentions, transforming it into a source of healing and positivity.

By engaging with water in this way, we honor its consciousness and deepen our relationship with this remarkable element. Like the waves of the ocean, let your thoughts flow freely, carrying you toward greater understanding and peace.

What does water mean to you? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

Art Vs. Artist 2024

Art vs Artist 2024

#ARTVSARTIST2024

Happy Spring friends!  I hope to find you all well!
Today I like to share my annual Art Vs. Artists 2024. Let me quickly explain what this is all about in case you aren’t familiar with it.

The hashtag #artvsarist  is a yearly on repeat trend, started among artists around 2016 on most social media platforms, like Instagram, Facebook etc.  It is a way for artists around the world to showcase some images of their work along with a photo of themselves in a nine squares grid. Artists chose some of their favorite artworks, mostly from the current year.  The center spot of the grid is usually reserved for the Artist selfie. This is a nice way to discover the Artist face behind the Art!  And it is a kind way for supporters to share an artist work. In the past few years I loved to participate, it feels always great to look back, remember and see my artistic evolution.
This is a great way to discover more artists just click on the hashtag link on any social platform.
If you would like to participate showcasing your work and yourself, all you need to do is to create your grid and share it, you have time until the end of the year!

Are you an artist participating already? Then leave your link in the comments!

  • How to create the grid? Easily find a template grid, I used the Layout App on my iPhone. When you created your 9 squares grid share it using the hashtags #artvsartist #artvsartist2024

If you missed my previous post here you can read the Story of this painting!
There is also something beautiful that I like to share about my work. Since I become a Usui Reiki Master I love to infuse my paintings with Reiki energy from the starting process when I begin to create to the end!  This specific painting has an amazing story that surprised me beyond my expectations! First let me tell you that I don’t plan any of my landscape paintings! I have created and mastered my own painting technique that is based on my intuition and energy while I let the colors and water blend together in a unique way on the paper.  I mostly use a painting knife for these paintings more than brushes! So it is almost impossible to anticipate the beautiful outcome! Each painting is unique and an amazing surprise for me! When I started this painting I connected first with my heart and with God purest light energy  to connect and activate the Reiki Universal energy force to infuse the painting while I was creating it! When I had finished, I observed the painting and I saw that beautiful yellow light in the middle coming from the sky! I couldn’t believe when I saw it!!! In my process I didn’t do anything to create it, the light just formed while the water and colors blended! I think the title “Divine Light”  couldn’t be more appropriate and true! I love this painting!

In Memory of my Dad

For Papa' 26 July 2023

♥️ The month of July left and it took my Dad, my Papa’ with him!

In a warm Wednesday on the 26 of July, he peacefully left embraced by my Mom and Brother. A day that we never wanted to arrive, our hearts are broken but it was expected during last month! My mom took great care of him! I am so grateful that I was able briefly to talk to my dad last time two days before. I will always miss the ways he used to greet me on the phone, the sound of his happy voice calling my name and the funny laugh together. I missed twenty one years of my Dad and Mom and Brother, because we live so far away. I am in California and they are in my native country Italy! Not easy to see each other but we talk daily! My Dad was an amazing artist his oil paintings and his limitless creativity fascinated me since I was a child.
His Art gene is in me and right now his Art continues to live through my watercolor paintings. He used to tell me ” Carolina you’re brave you choose watercolor, it is much more difficult than oil painting!” My dad was a free spirit, he loved to create from anything, he loved nature, especially the sea and loved fishing, he was an athlete in his young age he played Soccer professionally and he loved Tennis which he practiced and wanted me and my brother to practice since kids and we did with great results! Now my brother is a Professional Coach! He was a wonderful father he worked hard all his life and with my mom he took care his family, a man of loyalty and integrity a great husband. He was the friend of my friends “the eternal young in spirit” like they called him! A gentle heart, I will miss him every day but I know he is with us!
Shine your Light Papa’!
I love you

Thank You!

#ARTVSARTIST2022

This is my Art Vs. Artists 2022,
I like to share with you what this is in case you’re not familiar with it. The hashtag #artvsarist  is going on from years. I am not sure about the precise time, I guess this trend started among artists around the year 2016 on internet social media platforms like Instagram, Twitter, Facebook etc. Some call it Trend, Challenge. It is actually a way for artists to quickly showcase images of their work along with a photo of themselves. In a nine squares grid, artists pick their best artworks from the current year and usually the spot at the center is used for a selfie. I think is a nice way to discover the artist behind the art a little spotlight that brings quickly all together. I did participate to this in the past few years and I find it nice to look back at the previous ones to see how my art and work evolved. This year my grid is filled with landscapes. I selected some new paintings from my upcoming Collection release  “Fields and Waters” and in the center a fun photo of me!
If you are new to my Blog and my art and want to know more of what I do read my About me
This is also a great way to discover new artists. If you would like to participate showcasing your work and yourself, you can until the end of the year!  Easily find a template grid, I used the Layout App on my iPhone.
