If you missed my previous post here you can read the Story of this painting! There is also something beautiful that I like to share about my work. Since I become a Usui Reiki Master I love to infuse my paintings with Reiki energy from the starting process when I begin to create to the end! This specific painting has an amazing story that surprised me beyond my expectations! First let me tell you that I don’t plan any of my landscape paintings! I have created and mastered my own painting technique that is based on my intuition and energy while I let the colors and water blend together in a unique way on the paper. I mostly use a painting knife for these paintings more than brushes! So it is almost impossible to anticipate the beautiful outcome! Each painting is unique and an amazing surprise for me! When I started this painting I connected first with my heart and with God purest light energy to connect and activate the Reiki Universal energy force to infuse the painting while I was creating it! When I had finished, I observed the painting and I saw that beautiful yellow light in the middle coming from the sky! I couldn’t believe when I saw it!!! In my process I didn’t do anything to create it, the light just formed while the water and colors blended! I think the title “Divine Light” couldn’t be more appropriate and true! I love this painting!

This painting is the first of a new watercolor Landscapes Collection that I will be working on. Would be similar to my previous Collection “Fields and Waters” released last year in October, you might remember it or if you’re a new follower you can see and read about it Here! There is also something beautiful that I like to share about my work. Today I am very happy to announce the Official Release of my latest landscape watercolor painting. The title is “Magical Pond” if you follow me on Instagram @carolinarussoart you probably saw my posts as the work in progress. And if you are in my Collector’s List a few days ago you received my Newsletter with a preview. This painting is very special to me for many personal reasons. I love the mood of this ethereal landscape, the minimal color palette and the beautiful touch of gold. It is a magical place where the trees and the rocks are embracing the pond, the delicate sound of the the water and the light reflection in it are peacefully calming. An intimate place where you can connect with your soul and thoughts. This painting is very similar from the ones included in my latest Collection released last October. A series of landscapes and seascapes paintings inspired by powerful natural elements, “Water and Earth” and created in appreciation for our gorgeous nature on this Earth. The new painting is a continuation of that series. I will paint more of these. I hope you love it as I do.

My Collaboration with music artist Nu-San and Coming Soon Album Release!
Today post is an update for this interesting project and collaboration. Who follow me maybe remember my older post. Recently I had welcomed new followers to my Blog and this post is an update on this on going project and collaboration.
I have collaborated with music artist Nu-San and I was commissioned to create a watercolor painting as the Cover for his Coming Soon New Album “Nu Nostalgia” today we are celebrating the launch and release of the Video of Nu-San Single “Come With Me” a beautiful and moving song included in the album. I like to share it with you while we’re looking forward to the Album release!

And I am so honored and grateful beyond words that Nu-San wants my Art to illustrate his music. I love music and love to support music artists with my art. I always wanted to create an artwork that would be illustrating a music album as the “Cover” I am so happy that this wish is coming true and would be tangible soon. Nu-San discography includes other beautiful albums but this one is the first that would be made in “Vinyl” and it is a dream coming true for Nu-San. We are happy to share this achievement it is special. Thank you again Sandy for this great collaboration!

Nu-San
Nu-Sanis a solo project and electronic music producer and composer from Scotland, UK.
He has composed original chill out and dance tracks and creates unique haunting sounds and techno music, that’s the way I can best describe the sound of his music. I can’t wait to listen what he has created for the new coming album!

My painting is a watercolor and ink portrait in my signature style it has a hint of Gothic and a feeling of darkness. Nu-San asked me to include in the painting ravens birds, a graveyard scene, a castle and gave me the freedom to create. I enjoyed painting this atmospheric portrait not in a classic and common “Gothic Style” but revised in my own style. We are very happy about how the painting turned out and we can’t wait to see it as a Vinyl.

Artist’s Details about my watercolor ink painting: I painted on watercolor Fabriano paper, the original painting is size 12 x 24 inches. I used French watercolors by Sennelier. For the outline I used Black ink pens COPIC Multiliner #03 – #05 and a Fountain Pen Pilot Prera fine nib.

The watercolor painting that I have created, is going to be the “Cover” of Nu-San new music album and would and be released in “Vinyl and CDs” during the next few months or earlier. I don’t know the exact release date but I will write another blog post when it happens with more photos of the finished product and more info.
