– Day 4 CANDLES –
Winter Wonderland 31 Days 31 Painting Challenge!!!
Today prompt list says “CANDLES” I am joining Charlie at doodlewash for this fun December Adventure!
There is nothing more beautiful and relaxing than looking at a flame of a candle or the flame of a fireplace. It is almost hypnotic!
I loved to paint this candle placed near a window illuminating the darkness approching from outside, hunging glass ornaments a touch of gold and red drapes. I always love to see a candle behind a window when walking outside, it brings an immediate sense of joy. In my illustration I wanted bring to you just that beautiful warming feeling!
Details about my watercolors:
watercolors are outlined with black, brown and white ink pens. I used French Artists Watercolors Sennelier l’Aguarelle 12 demi-godets half-pans travel metal box Ink pens used Pigma Micron Black ink #02, brown #01, white Uni-ball Signo gel pen and a black ink Pilot Prera fountain pen fine nib . A touch of gold with a Gold Gellly Roll by Sakura I painted on a small 3.5 x 5.5 inches mixed media sketchbook.
