Day #12 World Watercolor Month
This is Day #12/31 of the World Watercolor Month today I painted another Hummingbird, I just love them, such tiny and colorful little ones! I was looking outside the window when I have seen flying around a red headed and green-blue body Hummingbird! I was soon inspired!

Details about my watercolor:
watercolor outlined with black ink pen. I used French Artists Watercolors Sennelier l’Aguarelle 12 demi-godets half-pans travel metal box and Pigma Micron Black ink #005. Painted over a mixed media sketchbook!

Very nice hummingbird, Carolina! I don’t think we have them over here – if we do, I haven’t been as lucky as you to see one!

Oh really where are you located Tom if is ok to ask…they are very small they are 3-5 inches like 7.5 – 13 cm and hard to see they fly fast usually you see them near flowers they love the nectar. Hope that you will see one sometimes!

I’m in Cheshire, in northern England, Carolina. I visited Canada once and saw several hummingbirds there, so I have actually seen one… just not here… 😦 🙂
