If you’re reading this after some time, welcome back. Whether you’ve been here for years or are just finding your way in, I’m grateful you’re here, sharing this quiet moment with me.
The Winter Solstice arrives softly. It does not announce itself loudly or demand attention. It comes gently, asking us to pause, to breathe, and to remember.
This is the longest night of the year, a sacred threshold where darkness reaches its fullness and light begins, almost imperceptibly, to return. For centuries, this moment has been honored as a time of rest, reflection, and gentle renewal.
If you’ve been feeling slower lately, more inward, more reflective, you are not behind. You are in rhythm.
A Different Way to Welcome the Solstice
Rather than “doing” more, the Winter Solstice invites us to be with what is. Here are a few gentle, less common ways to honor this sacred turning point without pressure or perfection.
1. Sit with a single candle and nothing else Instead of journaling or meditating with intention, simply light a candle and sit with it in silence for a few minutes. Watch the flame. Let your breath soften. Imagine this small light as the quiet truth within you that never went out, even during darker seasons.
2. Clean one small space with reverence Choose one drawer, one shelf, or one corner of your home. As you clear it, do so slowly and intentionally, thanking what you release and welcoming spaciousness. This simple act mirrors the solstice shift, making room for new light without forcing change.
3. Speak one word for the coming cycle Rather than setting resolutions or long intentions, choose a single word that feels supportive for the months ahead. Let it arise naturally. You don’t need to explain it or share it. This word becomes a gentle companion as the light returns.
4. Place your hands over your heart before sleep On the night of the solstice, place your hands over your heart and take a few deep breaths. No affirmations, no requests. Just presence. Let your body know it is safe to rest and restore.
A Quiet Season of Creation
This solstice finds me in a season of gentle creation and integration. Alongside my Reiki practice, I am continuing to work behind the scenes on Energy Essence, allowing it to take shape slowly and organically, just as it is meant to. Like the returning light, healing and new offerings often grow best when they are given time, space, and care.
Thank you for being here for reading, reflecting, and walking this quieter season with me. Your presence, whether visible or silent, is deeply felt.
May this Winter Solstice bring you:
deep rest
subtle clarity
and a gentle remembrance of your inner light
The days will begin to brighten again, one breath, one moment at a time. As Christmas and the holiday season approach, may you be surrounded by warmth, softness, and gentle reminders of what truly matters.
With warmth and gentle light wishing you a wonderful Solstice, Carolina
Hello beautiful souls, we’re getting closer to the Winter Solstice! The longest night of the year, marks a powerful turning point, a time when darkness begins to wane, and the light slowly returns. Celebrating the Solstice can be a deeply meaningful way to connect with nature and the Universe, reflect on the year past, and set intentions for the months ahead. Here are some beautiful ways to prepare for and celebrate this magical event, creating warmth and joy in the heart of winter. The Solstice is December 21, 2024
Preparing for the Winter Solstice
Create a Cozy Space Transform your home into a haven of warmth and light. Decorate with candles, fairy lights, and seasonal greenery like pine, holly, or mistletoe. Use soft blankets and comforting textures to create a nurturing atmosphere where you can retreat from the cold.
Reflect and Release The Solstice is an ideal time for self-reflection. Set aside time to journal about the past year, what you’ve learned, what you’re ready to let go of, and what you hope to welcome. Write down anything you want to release on slips of paper, and burn them safely as a symbolic gesture of letting go.
Gather Natural Elements Go for a winter walk and gather natural materials like pinecones, evergreen branches, or stones to incorporate into your celebrations. These can be used to decorate an altar, wreath, or centerpiece, connecting you with the rhythms of the Earth.
Plan Your Intentions As the Solstice celebrates the return of the light, it’s a wonderful time to set intentions for the year ahead. What do you want to grow or nurture in your life as the days grow longer?
Heartwarming Ways to Celebrate the Winter Solstice
Light a Candle Ceremony Light candles to symbolize the return of the sun and the growing light. Gather your family, friends, or simply yourself in a quiet moment, and reflect on the warmth and hope the light brings into your life.
Prepare a Feast of Seasonal Foods Celebrate with a meal that honors the season. Incorporate comforting dishes like roasted root vegetables, warm soups, spiced baked goods, or mulled cider. Sharing a Solstice meal with loved ones is a beautiful way to nourish both body and spirit.
Spend Time in Nature Bundle up and take a walk outdoors, appreciating the stillness and beauty of the winter landscape. Pause to listen to the quiet, observe the bare trees, and feel the connection to the Earth as it rests.
Create a Yule Log Tradition The Yule Log is an ancient tradition where a decorated log is burned as a symbol of light overcoming darkness. If you have a fireplace, you can burn a Yule Log with wishes or blessings written on it. Alternatively, you can create a decorative Yule Log centerpiece with candles.
Meditation and Rituals Meditate on themes of renewal, gratitude, and the cycles of nature. You can also perform a simple ritual, such as visualizing light filling your heart and radiating out into the world, bringing hope and positivity.
Craft and Create Engage in creative activities like making Solstice-inspired art, handcrafting ornaments, or creating wreaths from gathered greenery. These acts of creation embody the spirit of renewal and transformation.
A Celebration of Light and Hope
The Winter Solstice is a time to honor the beauty of the season and embrace its lessons. By celebrating this day with heartwarming traditions, you can find joy in the stillness of winter and welcome the light with open arms.

Healing Energy Through Art: Let’s continue the discussion…
I was happy to receive some great interactions and interest with my previous post on the subject, that I decided to write more. If you missed my previous post you can read it Here
Art has always been a profound medium for expression, connection, and healing. For centuries, artists have channeled their emotions, experiences, and energy into their creations, providing viewers with a sense of peace, inspiration, and even transformation. As an artist who integrates Reiki into my work, I believe that art can be a powerful conduit for healing energy. In this post, I’ll explore how art can serve as a channel for healing, the benefits it offers to viewers, and how distance Reiki works to enhance this process.
The Connection Between Art and Healing Energy
Art has an intrinsic ability to evoke emotions and create connections. When infused with healing energy, it transcends its visual appeal, offering deeper benefits:
Emotional Release and Catharsis: Art can help viewers process and release suppressed emotions. The colors, forms, and themes can resonate with personal experiences, facilitating emotional healing.
Stress Reduction and Relaxation: Viewing or creating art can induce a meditative state, lowering stress levels and promoting relaxation. The presence of healing energy within the artwork enhances this effect, creating a calming atmosphere.
Inspiration and Motivation: Art can inspire viewers, sparking creativity and motivating them to pursue their own passions. Healing energy amplifies this by providing a sense of clarity and purpose.
Spiritual Connection: Art infused with healing energy can serve as a spiritual tool, helping viewers connect with their inner selves, higher consciousness, and the universe.
Infusing Art with Reiki Energy
As a Reiki Master, I infuse my art with Reiki energy to enhance its healing properties. Reiki is a form of energy healing that originated in Japan. It involves channeling universal life force energy to promote balance and healing. Here’s how I integrate Reiki into my art:
Setting Intentions: Before starting a piece, I set clear intentions for the healing energy I want to infuse into the artwork. This could be peace, love, clarity, or any specific healing intention.
Meditation and Energy Channeling: During the creation process, I meditate and channel Reiki energy into the water I use to create my watercolor paintings, into the colors, the paper and into my brushes and tools and into the art. This energy is absorbed by the materials and becomes an integral part of the finished piece.
Blessing the Artwork: Once completed, I perform a Reiki blessing on the artwork to seal in the healing energy, ensuring it remains potent and effective for viewers.
Click hereto see a short video while I am channeling and infusing an artwork! While watching this right now you can be able to receive a glimpse of Reiki for yourself. Just set your intention to accept and receive this Reiki for your well-being and greatest good, watch as much as you want, the sound is beautiful too!
How Distance Reiki Works
Distance Reiki allows the transmission of healing energy across time and space, meaning it can be sent to someone who is not physically present. This principle applies to infusing art with Reiki as well. Here’s how distance Reiki works:
Energy Connection: The Reiki practitioner establishes an energetic connection with the recipient or the object (in this case, the artwork) through focused intention and visualization.
Symbol and Mantra Use: Specific Reiki sacred symbols and mantras are used to send energy across distances. These symbols help focus the practitioner’s intent and amplify the energy being transmitted.
Sending Healing Energy: The practitioner channels Reiki energy and sends it to the recipient or object. This energy transcends physical limitations and provides the intended healing benefits.
Benefits of Reiki-Infused Art for the Viewer
Reiki-infused art can have profound effects on those who view it. Some of the benefits include:
Enhanced Emotional Well-being: The calming and balancing effects of Reiki can help alleviate anxiety, depression, and emotional turmoil, promoting overall emotional well-being.
Physical Healing Support: While not a substitute for medical treatment, Reiki-infused art can complement physical healing by creating a supportive, healing environment.
Increased Energy and Vitality: The positive energy in the artwork can help uplift and energize viewers, combating feelings of fatigue and lethargy.
Spiritual Growth: The spiritual connection fostered by Reiki energy can aid in personal growth, self-discovery, and a deeper understanding of one’s life purpose.
Embrace the Healing Energy of Art
In our complicated world filled with noise and chaos, art offers a sanctuary of peace and healing. When infused with Reiki energy, art becomes even more powerful, providing emotional, physical, and spiritual benefits to those who engage with it. As an artist and Reiki Master, I am committed to creating art that not only pleases the eye but also heals the heart and soul.
Explore my Reiki-infused artwork and experience the transformative power of healing energy for yourself. Let art be a source of comfort, inspiration, and renewal in your life.

Note: Limited Edition Prints Reiki Infused of my two featured paintings are available in my Etsy Shop
In the world of art, where creativity knows no bounds, there exists a fascinating synergy between artistic expression and spiritual healing. I love to talk about Reiki a gentle yet profound and powerful practice that channels Universal life force energy to promote balance, relaxation, and well-being. What happens when these two worlds collide? Let’s explore the transformative potential of Reiki in art and how artists who are Reiki Masters can infuse their creations with this beautiful healing energy.
Understanding Reiki:A Brief Overview
At its core, Reiki is a Japanese healing technique that dates back to the early 20th century. The word “Reiki” is derived from two Japanese words: “rei,” meaning universal, and “ki,” meaning life force energy. Reiki practitioners believe that this energy flows through all living beings and can be channeled to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual healing.
During a in person Reiki session, the practitioner acts as a conduit for this energy, gently placing their hands on or near the recipient’s body to facilitate the flow of healing energy. This process helps to release blockages, restore balance, and activate the body’s natural healing abilities.
Distance Reiki works by tapping into the universal life force energy and directing it across space and time to the recipient no matter where his location is, operates on the principle that energy knows no bounds, thus allowing practitioners to channel healing energy to recipients regardless of physical proximity, maintaining the same effectiveness and impact as an in-person session.
Infusing Art with Reiki Energy
Now, imagine harnessing the power of Reiki within the creative process. For artists who are Reiki Masters, this concept is not merely theoretical, it’s a tangible reality. By incorporating Reiki principles and techniques into their artistic practice, these individuals, myself included can infuse their creations with a subtle yet potent energy that resonates with viewers that are open to receive it on a deeper level.
But how exactly does one infuse art with Reiki energy?
The process begins with setting intention and mindfulness. Before starting a new piece, the artist sets the intention to imbue it with healing energy, whether it be for relaxation, inspiration, or emotional release. This intention acts as a guiding force throughout the creative process, directing the flow of energy into the artwork.
During the creation phase, the artist may engage in Reiki meditation or visualization techniques to enhance their connection to the universal life force energy. They may also incorporate symbols or mantras traditionally used in Reiki practice, infusing each brushstroke or creative gesture with intention and purpose.
The Transformative Power of Reiki Art
The result? Artworks that radiate with a palpable sense of peace, harmony, and vitality. When viewers engage with these pieces, they may experience a subtle yet profound shift in their own energy, as the Reiki-infused artwork resonates with their inner being on a subconscious level.
Moreover, Reiki art has the potential to serve as a catalyst for healing and transformation. Whether displayed in homes, galleries, or healing spaces, these creations act as portals for healing energy to flow, inviting viewers to tap into their own innate capacity for healing and self-discovery.
Embracing the Intersection of Art and Healing
In a world that often feels chaotic and fragmented, the union of Art and Reiki offers a beacon of hope and healing. By embracing the intersection of creativity and spirituality, artists can become catalysts for positive change, using their gifts to uplift and inspire others on their journey toward wholeness.
As we continue to explore the infinite possibilities of artistic expression, let us not forget the transformative power of Reiki, a gentle reminder that healing is not merely confined to the physical realm but extends to the realms of the soul and spirit.
In conclusion, the marriage of Reiki and art is a testament to the boundless potential of human creativity and the universal desire for healing and connection. As artists, let us embrace this synergy wholeheartedly, infusing our creations with the healing energy of Reiki and offering a beacon of light in an often turbulent world.

Moreover, I offer custom orders for Reiki infusions on my art upon specific requests, tailoring the healing energy to address individual needs and desires. If you missed my previous post here you can read the Story of this painting! There is also something beautiful that I like to share about my work. Since I become a Usui Reiki Master I love to infuse my paintings with Reiki energy from the starting process when I begin to create to the end! This specific painting has an amazing story that surprised me beyond my expectations! First let me tell you that I don’t plan any of my landscape paintings! I have created and mastered my own painting technique that is based on my intuition and energy while I let the colors and water blend together in a unique way on the paper. I mostly use a painting knife for these paintings more than brushes! So it is almost impossible to anticipate the beautiful outcome! Each painting is unique and an amazing surprise for me! When I started this painting I connected first with my heart and with God purest light energy to connect and activate the Reiki Universal energy force to infuse the painting while I was creating it! When I had finished, I observed the painting and I saw that beautiful yellow light in the middle coming from the sky! I couldn’t believe when I saw it!!! In my process I didn’t do anything to create it, the light just formed while the water and colors blended! I think the title “Divine Light” couldn’t be more appropriate and true! I love this painting!
I know has been a while that I haven’t post here but today I am very excited to share my work and announce the release of my new landscape painting “Divine Light”
