Digital Art – When Nature Meets Humans – Portrait #5

Portrait #5 - Light and Darkness

“WHEN NATURE MEETS HUMANS”
Digital Portraits Collection

Portrait #5
– Light and Darkness –

In Today post I am very excited to share with you another creation I have been working on. This is Portrait #5  part of my experimental Digital-Art Portraits Collection. I love working on this concept “When Nature Meet Humans” it is always challenging and fascinating for me to search for the amazing photos that inspire my creations. I gave this Portrait the title of “Light and Darkness”.
I like to experiment new ideas and concepts that are helping me to evolve and grow with my art and creativity.  I always loved to work in Digital and apply my Art to this “Techno-media” (I just made up this definition of Art). One of my passion is Photography and I like to work with photos, manipulating images blending and layering them being able to give life to a new created photo as result of many. Here if you are a new follower or you missed my other posts you can see my Digital Art .  I also made a Gallery for the “Nature Meets Humans Portraits Collection” you can see the other portraits here.
I am very inspired and happy to work on this unique Collection of Artistic one of a kind Digital Portraits. I love to thank all of you for sharing my Art and for all the great feedbacks and comments left on this Blog. Your presence means a lot to me is always encouraging and motivating to keep going on evolving and experimenting with my creativity.

This portrait it is the #5 of this Collection, the title is “Light and Darkness” I like to give a positive message saying that “There is always light after the dark”.
I love the deep contrast and the blue color fusing in the black  darkness and the lighting created by the full moon bringing out the reality of the eyes over the other nature elements in the background. This portrait was very intriguing and inspiring to create.

To create this portrait and all the other ones I used beautiful photos found on Pinterest most of the images used are not my own Photography (I apologize but I haven’t found the Photographers names to give Credits if anyone recognize their photos please let me know).

I love this idea to mix Nature with Humans and create some unique and very different kinds of portraits…This Collection is created mostly for my own Artistic purpose and to share with you some of my Digital-Art abilities.

If you’re interested in purchase a custom and unique portrait like the ones in this Collection you can, I will create it exclusively for you, using your own personal memories photos, I will create your own personal and unique custom Digital Art Portrait, for info and details please contact me.

As always I love your comments!

Watercolors from Nature…

Flowers from Nature
NATURE it is so precious!

Today I will share how I painted those beautiful flowers using some of the most vibrant and pigmented colors found in “Nature”. I always like to experiment new ways to use colors. This time I wasn’t thinking to paint anything, I had no plan and no preparation it was late evening, but…when creativity strike you can’t miss the moment!
Few days ago I got some amazing “Dragon fruit” or also known as “Pitaya” it is a delicious and refreshing Tropical fruit that grows on several Cactus species and has great Health Benefits

Dragon Fruit

This fruit has beautiful colors on the outside skin, and rich magenta pigments inside or white.

Dragonfruit nature watercolor
The juice is a strong dye and it is perfect for painting, I used my 140 lb watercolor paper sketch book
and Aqua flo water filled brushes.

Dragonfruit pink Flower copy
I then decided that I needed a touch of yellow to combine with the Magenta and paint more flowers.
For the yellow color I used another powerful natural pigment found in nature.  I used Turmeric powder.
tumeric 2
Turmeric it is a root spice used for cooking.  I wanted to try out Turmeric powder for painting from a long time.
The yellow color is very rich and beautiful, I mixed a dash of powder with water and I painted.

Turmeric Flower
I am happy with the experiment of using natural pigments and how this little painting turned out.
If you paint I suggest you to try!

A great thanks to Mother Nature!

I named this necklace “Protective energy” because the meanings of the beautiful and ancient turquoise gemstone.

I wanted to create a Tribal Talisman necklace, my design feature a pendant made with multiple Turquoise gemstones wrapped and knotted with a thin leather cord and no metal wire. The pendant is 3.5 inches long, made with three beautiful Turquoise gemstones in different sizes, and a faceted yellow translucent citrine combined with brass beads in between natural horn pipes, bone and wooden beads.

A dark tan color leather cord is knotted and adjustable in length. This necklace it is wearable long or short  both ways it looks beautiful.

50 Words Story…Golden Aura

Golden Aura

Golden Aura

The bright golden aura was  expanding through the darkness of clouds lighting up the sky. Unconscious awareness of an awakening soul was swimming through the thirst of truth. Climbing stairs of universal love, finding peace and happiness into a rising moon.

A Story in 50 words – Deep Water

Malibu - Zuma

Deep Water

Surrounded by the blue deepest water. The reflections of floating emotions, loaded the mind and body in a fearless state. Tranquillity and silence flying through the broken branches of a life experience, were glowing under the warm sunlight.
Suddenly warm rain drops of happiness joined the deep water becoming one.
