Yesterday I wanted to use my new French Sennelier Watercolor!
So I needed to create something!
I love Illustration, and sometimes I like drawing cute characters a little bit out of my ordinary watercolor paintings and sketches. Creativity it is something that there are no words to describe it! Inspiration can come from anything and often start with something to ends with something totally different from what was inside your mind it is a very fascinating and abstract process, that’s how I call it! While I was thinking what to begin with to start my drawing, the word “Friends” came up to my mind I don’t know why, at the same time I was on my Pinterest pinning things for my boards and I came across some cute dolls. I was captured by their nice faces and big eyes and instantly I felt the wish to draw them. I quickly made my sketch, when the word “Friends” came back to mind again and that was it!!! It was perfect for my new illustration. I am going to dedicate this drawing to all the amazing Bloggers Friends I found here on WP community. 🙂
Some technical details: I quickly sketched first with a pencil #2 HB few light lines just to give me an idea to the two figures and the flower. For this Illustration I was excited to use my new Sennelier watercolor. I love Sennellier their watercolors are beautiful and very pigmented rich and luminous honey-based. I purchased this metal travel box on Amazon it is small and easy to carry almost the size of an iPhone it can fit anywhere.
This Watercolor set is inspired by the bright and lively palette of Southern France. Each set contains 12 half pans of top quality French Artists Watercolor and two built-in palettes within a compact and sturdy metal case. Reformulated with an increased honey content gives each watercolor incomparable brilliance and luminosity while acting as a preservative to extend the paints longevity.
I love the fluidity of the colors a little goes a long way. I am very happy how my illustration turned out. I gave the finish touch going over with a black ink Pigma Micron pen 0.3 to finish and shade.

Once upon a time…a beautiful little girl was learning how drawing hearts…
her hearts were so lovely and unique in shape ending with a happy swirl a detail that was giving the hearts a sense of character and uniqueness. This adorable little girl was about 4 years old when she started drawing hearts using pens, pencils, markers and watercolors making beautiful little paintings. She has been drawing her beautiful and recognizable hearts everywhere, in any ways and kinds. Time has passed and until today 7 years later, she still drawing the same adorable hearts. The little girl is grown in a beautiful teen she is 11 almost 12 years old right now, and I am her proud Mom. I always loved her beautiful hearts dedicated to me in her lovely cards year after year. I have been fascinated by her drawings at the point that I wanted to do something…

Today is time for another digital creation that I want to share with you, it’s another new Portrait added to this Collection. This is Portrait #3 Silver Wave.
This is a a black and white portrait created with black and white photos only. While editing I was able to archive a magical golden lighting creating beautiful shades it is lovely how it turned out I am very happy with it. This was a great experiment to work on.
I like to continually evolve with my Art and creativity. From years I love to work in Digital finding new ways of visualize and learn while experimenting. I like to work with photos, manipulating images of any kind. I often post my Digital Art . I made a new gallery for the “Nature Meet Humans Portraits Collection” you can see it here. When I am not working on my Jewelry Designs, and when I am not holding a pencil or a brush, I love to go Digital and Photoshop is my ally. I am using Photoshop from years, for me there are not other software to really compare with, I am so amazed all the time of what I am able to create with it.
I am very excited and inspired to work on this Collection of Artistic and one of a kind Digital Portraits, thanks to all of you for leaving me great feedback and comments. I really appreciate all the encouragement. This portrait it is the #3 of this Collection, I gave it the title “Silver Wave” and to create it I used 2 beautiful photos found over internet on Pinterest the images used are not my own Photography (I apologize but haven’t found any names to give Credits).
I came with this idea to mix nature with humans and create a unique and very different kind of portraits…let’s say very unusual portraits with all my experience, Art and soul into it.
If you’re interested in purchase a custom and unique portrait like this one using your own personal photos, I can create your personal and unique custom Digital Art Portrait, for info and details please contact me.
very often I got asked about my jewelry photographs, what inspire me to showcase my creations the way I do. As you can see from some of the photos posted from the beginning on this Blog I love photography! Yes I really do! I love that you can catch the moment and it will stay forever with a beautiful photo. That alone it is very inspiring to me. Awakening that instinctive creativity guided from my inner soul to get the perfect shot. I consider photography another great Artistic Expression and I love to use some photos for my Digital Art. In Photography I am an “Amateur” if I can say that 🙂 ❤
I love to stage and take all the photos for my Jewelry Design as you can see them in the gallery Jewelry Portfolio each photo is inspired…
