Today I want to share this beautiful photo I took last night at the sunset.
Almost every night we go on a hike on the hills around the area and I am experiencing some of the most amazing sunsets! Yesterday when I took this shot I was all the way on top of one of the hills. I took this photo with my phone quickly without thinking too much, I just wanted to grab that beautiful moment and the lovely colors in the sky. When I came back at home I opened the photo on my computer and with a beautiful surprise I see that I have been able to capture that amazing red sun ray I found it to be so beautiful and amazing like a Divine sign. I didn’t edit this photo at all it is just as I captured it. I like the time spent hiking those hills it is a great way to workout and it is beautiful to be immersed in the wild nature, there is silence up there a place to meditate and listen the inner voice of your soul blending with the wind.
This is another photo I took a while ago on the same Hills and it is almost on the same spot I took the shot of the sunset. This one was taken few months ago at early time when the sun was still high in the beautiful blue sky.

Illustration – Friends
Yesterday I wanted to use my new French Sennelier Watercolor!
So I needed to create something!
I love Illustration, and sometimes I like drawing cute characters a little bit out of my ordinary watercolor paintings and sketches. Creativity it is something that there are no words to describe it! Inspiration can come from anything and often start with something to ends with something totally different from what was inside your mind it is a very fascinating and abstract process, that’s how I call it! While I was thinking what to begin with to start my drawing, the word “Friends” came up to my mind I don’t know why, at the same time I was on my Pinterest pinning things for my boards and I came across some cute dolls. I was captured by their nice faces and big eyes and instantly I felt the wish to draw them. I quickly made my sketch, when the word “Friends” came back to mind again and that was it!!! It was perfect for my new illustration. I am going to dedicate this drawing to all the amazing Bloggers Friends I found here on WP community. 🙂
Some technical details: I quickly sketched first with a pencil #2 HB few light lines just to give me an idea to the two figures and the flower. For this Illustration I was excited to use my new Sennelier watercolor. I love Sennellier their watercolors are beautiful and very pigmented rich and luminous honey-based. I purchased this metal travel box on Amazon it is small and easy to carry almost the size of an iPhone it can fit anywhere.
This Watercolor set is inspired by the bright and lively palette of Southern France. Each set contains 12 half pans of top quality French Artists Watercolor and two built-in palettes within a compact and sturdy metal case. Reformulated with an increased honey content gives each watercolor incomparable brilliance and luminosity while acting as a preservative to extend the paints longevity.
I love the fluidity of the colors a little goes a long way. I am very happy how my illustration turned out. I gave the finish touch going over with a black ink Pigma Micron pen 0.3 to finish and shade.

Overwhelming beauty
Overwhelming beauty
The sunset light was approaching
the soft curved hills.
Evening was entering like a fierce painting
in the sky.
How amazing colors
in a new dimension that only
nature and someone above
has the power to create.
I felt that overwhelming presence
a strange feeling surrounded me,
all over like holding me
in a tight and breathtaking embrace
excitement and power for
something that I see unbelievable unreal
but truly real.
I am glad I was there
grabbing the drops of this
overwhelming beauty.

Yesterday evening I went for a walk on the hills…this walk was amazing!
I was at the right place at the right time. Just in time to see one of the most spectacular Sunset I have experienced here. California it is known for having amazing sunsets, but yesterday was something else. I couldn’t believe what was happening in a few minutes time frame. The photos I took with my phone are beautiful and I left them just as is. I didn’t edit with Photoshop or added any filters. I just added my signature I wanted to be able to share what was the sky was really this color was so intense and red that it was just so beautiful! I got inspired to write the poem “Overwhelming beauty” I hope you enjoy this and I wish you a wonderful day!

The Walk

New Design – Life of Courage and Truth
This week has been pretty full of nice things, I had new amazing followers, I have been nominated with 3 Blogger Awards, I am thrilled and I really appreciate and I am grateful to anyone that included me in these nominations! I have accepted all of them of course, but I had not time yet to complete my acceptance for “The Creative Blogger” and “Liebster blog Award” I will soon!
During the past days I have been working on several Artistic projects beside focusing on this Blog!
I have been working on Photography, Digital Art, new sketches and my Jewelry, bringing to life a new design “Hoops earrings” I like hoops I wear them all the time and I love how this design turned out they looks amazing on!
This design feature a large Silver wired, hammered and forged hoops having a charm made with natural powerful gemstones I used Amazonite, Red Coral, and faceted Crystal. I love the combination of colors of these three gemstones and their great meanings.
Amazonite takes the name from the Amazon river it is the stone of Courage and Truth. This gemstone it is used in Jewelry from way long time since the Mesopotamian Cultures. The wonderful light blue-green color remind the water it is soothing and calming for the soul. Emits powers of strong energy. Was often used as talisman for protection. This beautiful stone is believed to be used from the mythical Tribe of the courageous and strong Amazonian women warriors.
Red Coral the beautiful Red Coral gemstone symbolize Life and bring messages of peace within self, emits positive energy and protection.
Crystal there is an interesting message for clear crystals and it is that Clear Crystal has the property to amplifier the powers of other gemstones combined with it, in this case it will empower more the Amazonite and Coral.
I named the hoop earrings “Life of Courage and Truth”
