Today post is for yesterday painting Day 20 official prompt is “California Dreaming” I live in California from last 15 years! Today I made a painting illustrating one of the most famous places in Los Angeles and an all time tourist attraction “Hollywood”! I couldn’t miss to portray one beautiful movie star, iconic Marilyn Monroe! Her beauty has no time but I painted her in my style, watercolor and ink with a touch of Pop Art. I gave her, blue hair! I can see a nowadays Marilyn being able to casually sporting baby blue or pink color hair and be lovely! I also painted her between the bright yellow “California Poppy flowers” they are like sunshine here you can see them all over!

My watercolors is outlined with black, white and dark red ink pens. Gold Gelly Roll Sakura pen. I used French Artists Watercolors Sennelier l’Aguarelle, Ink pens used COPIC Multiliner Black ink #03 and 05 . A Alvin Draft/Matic #03 Limited Edition Pink Mab Graves Pencil. Pentel Aqua Brush – I painted on Bee Paper for watercolor 140lb, 100% cotton, cold pressed, size 6×9 inches .

Today painting official prompt is “Furry Friends” I wanted to create a very meaningful painting in loving memory of my beautiful Dutch Bunny “Grey” passed away at the beginning of June, it’s a little more than one month and I still cannot believe he isn’t here anymore I miss him very much! My painting is also dedicated to anyone that experienced the g loss of a loved pet. I gave my own title to this painting which is “Eternal Embrace” we will always love and carry our beautiful pets inside our heart with an eternal embrace they will always be with us! ❤

Today painting is an off prompt and my title is “Unseen” I hope that you like this piece it was one of those days where I had to deal with not being greatly satisfied with what I was painting! But in the end I am ok with the way it turned out! Maybe it is just me today having an odd day or being too critical to myself. I started this painting having not idea of what to paint, then I wanted to stay on my path for this series of portraits that I am making! Then I just started to put colors quickly on the paper and let the water flow and here it is…that’s art life!
