“WHEN NATURE MEETS HUMANS” Digital Portraits Collection
Portrait #5
– Light and Darkness –
With today post I am participating to Discover Weekly Photo Challenge – Portraits. I am very excited to share with you one of my digital creations. This is Portrait #5 part of my experimental Digital-Art Portraits Collection. I love working on this concept “When Nature Meet Humans” it is always challenging and fascinating for me to search for the amazing photos that inspire my creations. I gave this Portrait the title of “Light and Darkness“.
I like to experiment new ideas and concepts that are helping me to evolve and grow with my art and creativity. I always loved to work in Digital and apply my Art to this “Techno-Medium” (I just made up this definition of Art). One of my passion is Photography I like to take photos and I like to work with photos, manipulating images blending and layering them, being able to give life to a new created photo as result of many. Here if you are a new follower or you missed my older posts you can see my Digital Art . I also made a Gallery for the “Nature Meets Humans Portraits Collection” you can see the other portraits here.
I am very inspired and happy to work on this unique Collection of Artistic one of a kind Digital Portraits. I love to thank all of you for sharing my Art and for all the great feedbacks and comments left on this Blog. Your presence means a lot to me is always encouraging and motivating to keep going on, evolving and experimenting with my creativity.
This portrait it is the #5 of this Collection, the title is “Light and Darkness” and I like to give a positive message of hope saying that “There is always light after the dark”.
I love the deep contrast and the blue color fusing in the black darkness and the lighting created by the full moon that brings out the reality of the eyes over the other nature elements in the background. This portrait was very intriguing and inspiring to create.
To be able to create this portrait and all the other ones I used beautiful photos found on Pinterest most of the images used are not my own Photography (I apologize but I haven’t found the Photographers names to give Credits if anyone recognize their photos please let me know).
I love this idea to mix Nature with Humans and create some unique and very different kinds of portraits…This Collection is created mostly for my own Artistic purpose and to share with you some of my Digital-Art abilities.
If you’re interested in purchase a custom and unique portrait like the ones in this Collection you can. I will create one exclusively for you, using your own personal memories photos, I will create your own personal and unique custom Digital Art Portrait, for more info and details please contact me.

To participate I will share some of my photos!
This post is for two days Day #26/31 of the World Watercolor Month Today painting is a Study of a Seahorse. I painted the same seahorse on two different papers one is on white paper with light washes of colors and outlined with a brown ink pen. The result is a delicate and ethereal Seahorse.
Day #27/31 Today to do something different for my study, I painted the same seahorse on a black paper. First I painted some of the background with rich pigmented colors. The effect change dramatically. This time after the background was dry I draw the seahorse with a white gel pen. And I really like how it looks!

This is Day #25/31 of the World Watercolor Month today I wanted to paint my watercolor on “Tomoe River” Paper a lightweight and ultra smooth paper from Japan. This is a very light weight paper only 52 gsm nothing like watercolor paper, it is so thin that is almost see through. This is a writers paper perfect for fountains pens and any kind of pens and pencils also markers because it doesn’t bleed through. The paper also holds beautifully light washes of watercolor. If you are familiar with the “Hobonichi Techo Planner” from Japan then you know that the amazing trendy planner that has followers all over the world is made out of this paper and is often used like an illustrated planner more like a sketchbook to illustrate the daily life! I love how the watercolor move freely and blend on the smooth magic thin paper. I painted these Poppy flowers straight with the watercolors without even trace them before. I also love the way the purple shadow turned out I outlined with the black ink pen but I wish I took a before picture it was beautiful also without the outline. I hope that you enjoyed my Day#25 in few hours I will post Day #26! <3
