Generally women can be fire breathing dragons, but this woman has always been kind and sweet to me. I have really enjoyed her uplifting comments over the course of our WordPress bloggership. I am making up words. She is a craft blogger and shares jewelry that she sells on her site as well as artwork that she creates. She is doing it all and is always a responsive commenter so give her website a visit!

OM – Weekly Blog Reviews #3

Wow! Jason “OM” has been very kind to me and my Blog!
I am so grateful for the time he took on doing this review. I truly appreciate his encouraging words since he is someone that speak truly what he feel and very well-known here on WP Community and Blogosphere having an audience of 55.539 followers. He is very generous with his space and kind with new Bloggers. I truly like his Blog and what he is doing. My weekly “Meet and Greet” was inspired by his Meet and Greet Sessions. At the beginning of my Blog journeys, I left my link there, and that’s when I meet many of my dearest friends here. During the time that OM was not blogging I felt that something in the community was missed and I started my weekly Friday event is almost 30 weeks now, it became successful, something to look forward every week, also because I like to Feature on Saturday and support Bloggers that I believe in.

Today I am so happy to introduce HeavyCloud we follow each other Blogs from quite awhile several months. He is a fun, wonderful and creative presence in the Blogosphere here on WP. I am sure that some of you know already and enjoy to read his Blog. HC is a writer and he write beautiful poems/songs also loves Photography his photos are beautiful, he let me use this beautiful full moon for some of my Digital Art creations.

Talking we discovered to have several things in common, we like the same Music, Photography, writing poems and we are native from the same Country Italy and we are born in the same city! But he is in France and I am in US…Isn’t this amazing? I guess it is the beautiful part of having a Blog and meet friends all over the world!

A night with Archive

Music – A magic night Concert with ARCHIVE touring in France. My Blogger friend HeavyCloud attended and wrote this great post! Thank you HC

The concert of this London band was worth the waiting. Expectations were fulfilled, with a 2 hours wide range of songs going from oldies like “You make me feel” to the latest “Distorted Angels” and “Kid Corner”, passing through classics like “Dangervisit”, “Fuck You”, a beautiful version of “Bullets” performed by Pollard Berrier and the splendid encore “Lights” (yes, thinking of you Carolina…).

Some shivers and a tear on “End of our days” performed by Holly Martin…

Two more good points: the venue “le Bikini”, which acoustically speaking was just perfect and the very good opening act, a four Belgian boys band called BRNS (read Brains) which have obviously been fed with good brit alt-rock during their childhood. Here is a taste of it…

Yesterday my great friend and soul sister Erika Kind surprised me with this amazing Challenge nomination!
I am so honored and happy that Erika considered me for this beautiful challenge “Be Thankful” it is something that we all have to do. Stop and take a moment of reflection, thinking about all we have in our life, and don’t give things or people for granted! Everything, good things, or no so good things, are part of our life experience in this world helping and shaping us to become the souls we are.

5 people I am thankful for:

My Daughter: my beautiful and loving teen daughter, I am grateful and thankful for her in my life, I love her more than anything. Because of her I am the woman I turned to be today. Because of her I found out I had a strength I never knew I had. Because of her I had overcome Mountains. Because of her I am here in US and Because of her, I learned to forgive who kept me away from my own home. I learned on my own skin to use LOVE and turn situations that weren’t easy, in positive situations otherwise impossible, friendship after years of harsh battle in the name of Love.

My Mom: I am so thankful for my Mom she has been always there for me during my years growing up and still. She is the one that thought me strength and truthfulness she suffered very much to be a part from me, when I decided 13 years ago to leave Italy in the name of love and come to US. We were very close. I was her everything her first baby. She supported me saying if you are going to be happy, also if you would be so far away, I will be happy too. Life not always turn the way you expect or dream about it, but every event happen for unknown reasons, and as difficult it is life events are there to enlighten and enrich your inner soul. Today having my daughter, I know how much my mom felt during those years and I thank my mom for being there for me more than anything.

My Dad: my Dad is the Artist in my family his creativity, and Art are amazing. I grow up exposed to his creativity all the time. I was lucky to be able to observe his work in his room-studio and learn a lot from him in action just observing. He is primary an Oil painter winner of several awards in private exhibits. He can transform anything in a treasure. I always thought that his creativity goes way behond expectations and not only Paintings but anything he touches. Not even the Art School I attended gave me what I learned from him.

My Brother: My brother is so special to me, he is 5 years younger, we shared everything growing up, we have a wonderful relationship and we miss each other a lot. He is in Italy. We both are tennis players. My dad passion beside Art was sport and he and my mom were agree to have us learn “seriously” and be into a sport discipline. We attended Tennis school at very early age. I started at 8 my brother at 6 years old. My brother now is also a certified Tennis Coach. We spent our teen age training a lot and going around dealing with National tournaments and My dad was always there in support :-)

Myself: yes! Also if it could be strange, I am very thankful for myself! I am not perfect and I had my mistakes like everyone else. I just want to thank myself for being able to become the woman I am today!

5 things I am thankful in 2015

Life: I love life this powerful and often underestimate gift we all have. I appreciate life and I am trying my best way to experience it in the most healthful and enlightened way I can.

Love: is the only thing that matter here, with love the impossible can be possible! We all have to start with love ourself first in order to love others. I am very happy that I am experiencing so much love here in this WP Community, I came across beautiful souls and their expression of love. Thank you!

Art: for me is everything I do, all my creations, my multiple ways to express myself visually and not. This year I was able to create and share my creations with the world in a different dimension ,starting this Blog and being able to be seen is something wonderful knowing that people love what I do.

My Blog: from last March my Blog is part of my daily life! Is my presence into an open window to the world, it is the beautiful place where I have my own space to share, learn and laugh. The special place where I have all my amazing friends always there to encourage, share and support. This Blog is were all my creations turn to life! This Blog also give me the opportunity to support, encourage and share my love for others.

Nature: I love Nature! It is my first place where I get inspired, the amazing feelings looking at the ocean, or gazing the sky at night, staring into the eyes of an animal, the colors of beautiful flowers, the magic snow, the rain and wind, the sound of the water… all this make me feel alive!

Today I am very pleased to introduce Ryan Stone
he is a freelance writer from Melbourne, Australia. He shares his home in the blue Dandenongs with his wife, two young sons and a German Shepherd. His poetry has recently appeared in Writers’ Forum Magazine, Black Poppy Review, Goodreads, Cafe Aphra, Wolf Publishing and an anthology or two. On daily walks through his forest surrounds, he often peers down rabbit holes.

Ryan writes beautifully and sometimes with great twists. Something that amazed me when I discovered him was his writing ability, he can go beyond the ordinary there is one of his poems “Falling Up” that can be read from bottom to top and the poem has a surprising twist I suggest you to read it soon! There are many great poems and more to read on his Blog, often accompanied with his beautiful Photography…I am sure that this will open your curiosity and enjoy a visit to his Blog!

Happy Anniversary! 13 years in USA and Anniversary for my Blog! ;-)

Yesterday August 22 was my 13 years Anniversary here in USA I moved from Italy in 2002
and lived in California since then, I just wanted to share this with my WP friends also because yesterday was my Anniversary on WordPress a nice coincidence!

I had my Blog active on WordPress for about more than 2 years without posting anything!
I wanted to reserve my domain name yesterdayafter.com since I love it a lot!
At the same time I was working on launching my Jewelry Designs Collections expanding my horizons.
I was only working on the graphics and designs to customize the Theme layout of this Blog reflecting my own creativity. I wanted to launch it as soon I was ready, but no any word was ever posted also some life events slowed the process. Then one day almost 5 months ago it was the end of March, I decided to jump in and made a very small first post announcing the opening of my Etsy Shop.
I felt like I was a drop into the ocean, almost impossible to be seen in between the millions of other Blogs.
Then people started to discover my presence I was posting once in a while my Jewelry and Artworks and I got very nice feedback! As Artist I express my Art in different ways, my posts are not always about the same subject. I work with different media and my followers showed appreciation and love for my talents.
Also I decided to go around leaving comments, and not just stay here reading. I let people know how much I loved their work and they responded to me beautifully with kindred words and they started to follow my Blog recognizing me with Awards. I felt very honored for such a beautiful recognition.

In May I also created my own Award to pass on “The Starlight Blogger Award” I launched this Award to highlight and Promote Inspiring Bloggers and I am so happy that the Award is going around the world a lot! Bloggers link to me and I have chance to discover new intersting Blogs.

Ten weeks ago I decided that I wanted to do something to give back to this beautiful Community starting my Meet and Greet Event where every week I choose to Feature one Blogger and Blog that I admire and I am Inspired from, introducing them to inspire others.

I felt very welcome here during those months I discovered amazing Blogs and Bloggers that are beautiful friends!
I am stunned and amazed about the fast growth it’s fascinating!
…..THANK YOU to ALL…..
each one of you made this happen with me!

I am very happy because our strength together it’s very powerful and encouraging to keep going for all of us…
