Unique one of a kind Keepsake Jewelry
“Memories From the Ocean”

This ethnic necklace has a very unique double pendant created with silver plated copper wire, it can be made also in Sterling Silver. The wire and leather are wrapped together around the bigger fossil seashell, holding the second dangle smaller piece. The leather cord is adjustable in length through sliding knots and has two antiques wooden beads. The unique pieces of Fossil Seashells were found by me on a beautiful Malibu beach in California. These pieces are one of a kind having different shapes and colors and no one is equal. During my journeys I found other beautiful stones and more fossil seashell pieces in different shape, size and thickness they are all part of my personal collection to use for my unique Custom jewelry designs.

Ocean whispers…
I love to think that each seashell spent hundred years of life under the beautiful and deep blue waters of the ocean until the waves left them on the shore for me to find and infuse with my Art. When I create my jewelry I feel fortunate that, I can bring these seashells back to shine in a new beautiful life, this time it is outside the water and for us to admire and treasure them like a precious gift from Nature.

Today I am sharing with you my New Portrait for this unique Digital Art Collection “When Nature Meets Humans” created out of digital photo-manipulation, each portrait is a blend of multiple photos representing nature and persons. I started to develop this concept about two months ago and since then I created five unique portraits.

This is Portrait #6 – EWIAN

Last week Ewian was the Featured on my “Weekly Featured Blogs Event” taking place every Saturday, if you missed the post you can see it here.
Ewian is a great music composer from Germany and his beautiful music and videos, inspired me on creating my new Portrait for this unique Collection. A black and white portrait in connection and symbiosis, reflecting Ewian style and Alternative Post-Rock music.
I used some of the great photos found on EWIAN Blog blended with photos of the “Black Forest” located in Germany. This beautiful forest rapresent the nature greately.
I like to experiment and continually evolve with my Art and creativity. From years I love to work in digital searching and testing new ways of visualization. I love Photography and like to work with photos, manipulating images and transforming them with my personal artistic touch. You can see the other 5 Portraits in a Gallery here.

I love this idea to mix nature with humans and create some unique and very different kinds of portraits…This Collection is created mostly for my own Artistic purpose and to share with you some of my digital abilities.

Unique one of a kind Keepsake Jewelry “Memories From the Ocean”

Today I am going to share my new design and unique creation.

“Memories from the Ocean” Necklace

This beautiful necklace is part of a new concept I am launching here.
This concept is about creating unique Keepsake Memories Jewelry with found objects.
I love bringing to life unique jewels created with objects found in our precious nature.

For this necklace I used beautiful found from the Ocean. Drift wood, fossil seashells, red coral and pieces of seashells smoothed and shaped from years and years of ocean’s erosion. The beautiful uniquely shaped piece of driftwood, was, what inspired me to make this statement necklace right at the moment I found it on a beautiful California beach. I left the wood natural just like I found it, I didn’t want to add any oil or wax because the wind and waves did their beautiful work of natural art.

Whenever I go, I am always looking out for interesting pieces of nature, treasures to keepsake and add to my collection for my art and creations. This way every design it is One of a Kind and I love that!

I used Copper wire left natural and not oxidized, so that the time will create the natural patina on it. I created three hanging pendants with pieces of Red Coral, Amazonite and Agate gemstones, three different faceted Crystals, yellow citrine, smoky and clear, a fossil seashell piece with a natural hole and an Abalone piece. This combination of pieces is beautiful and the gemstones color perfectly remind the ocean water. I wrapped the copper wire to the driftwood following the natural curves and holding the pendants. A tan color flat suede adjustable leather cord is the finishing touch for this unique necklace.

I like to experiment and continually evolving with my Art and creativity. From years I love to work in Digital finding new ways of visualization. I am very inspired and happy to work on this unique Collection of Artistic one of a kind Digital Portraits. Your presence means a lot to me is encouraging to keep going on evolving and experimenting with my creativity. This portrait it is the #4 of this Collection, the title is “Blue Shadows” the color Blue is the color of the sky and sea. It is often associated with depth and stability. It symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith, truth, and heaven.. New Design – The OM Necklace

The OM Sacred symbol it is also known as the OM Sacred Sound of the Universe it is not easy to explain the pure meaning in few words. “Om” is familiar to anyone who’s takes yoga classes, where it is often chanted at the beginning and end of the session. If you are not familiar with this symbol you can read more here and in this other source here.

I have been always fascinated by the sacred OM symbol that I wanted to design a necklace representing it. I designed and crafted a silver wired OM pendant created in two pieces. I wanted it to be as accurate as possible while forging, twisting and hammering the silver wire in a OM shape.

I selected a beautiful combination of natural healing stones with great meanings, the Orange Agate have the power to harmonize the positive and negative forces that hold the universe in place. Amazonite in beautiful shades of blue-green soothe the spirit and calm the soul. Smoky Crystal protects against negative energies.

A giant statement earrings 4 inches long made out of one piece of silver wire carefully bended, forged and hammered to follow perfectly the curves created into my Design sketch. Gemstones would be added and wired…for now I did bring to life the shape of the first earring…still work to do!

Today is time for another digital creation that I want to share with you, it’s another new Portrait added to this Collection. This is Portrait #3 Silver Wave.
This is a a black and white portrait created with black and white photos only. While editing I was able to archive a magical golden lighting creating beautiful shades it is lovely how it turned out I am very happy with it. This was a great experiment to work on.
I like to continually evolve with my Art and creativity. From years I love to work in Digital finding new ways of visualize and learn while experimenting. I like to work with photos, manipulating images of any kind. I often post my Digital Art . I made a new gallery for the “Nature Meet Humans Portraits Collection” you can see it here. When I am not working on my Jewelry Designs, and when I am not holding a pencil or a brush, I love to go Digital and Photoshop is my ally. I am using Photoshop from years, for me there are not other software to really compare with, I am so amazed all the time of what I am able to create with it.
I am very excited and inspired to work on this Collection of Artistic and one of a kind Digital Portraits, thanks to all of you for leaving me great feedback and comments. I really appreciate all the encouragement. When I was in Italy I grow up in a city on the Mediterranean sea, I could see it from my window at home. I have been always fascinated by the changing colors during the four seasons. The sea is an element that is intimately linked with my life and identity. My watercolor paintings and Illustrations are very often inspired from beautiful seascapes, the movement and reflection of the water. I love the dramatic light of oceans in storm, beautiful beaches and sunsets, including boats and harbours, ocean waves and rocky outcrops, misty landscapes, as well as beautiful underwaters fauna and flora. I love to search and look for natural found objects on the shore. There are many fascinating pieces, natural treasures that I collect.

Often I post my work created in Digital Art and I am going soon to make a new gallery. When I am not working on my Jewelry Collections, and when I am not holding a pencil or a brush, I love to go Digital and Photoshop is one of my ally. I am using Photoshop from years, for me there are not other software to really compare with.

I was having a hard time a few weeks back- being cut off from some people I really love for no particular reason- I fell into a slump- an unloved sad little slump. Poking around my favorite sites I saw a post by the lovely Carolina at yesterdayafter. If you don’t already know or haven’t seen (please please look) Carolina makes her own incredible jewelry. That night she had posted a Rose Quartz- did you know Rose quartz is termed the “love stone”? It’s also called the bohemian Ruby- hello! How awesome is that?!
