Fossil Seashells Necklace

Unique one of a kind Keepsake Jewelry
“Memories From the Ocean”

This ethnic necklace is part of a unique collection of designs created with elements from the ocean. The necklace has a double pendant wrapped in silver plated copper wire, it can be made also in Sterling silver or oxidized copper. The wire and leather cord are wrapped together around the bigger fossil seashell, holding a second smaller piece. The leather cord made the necklace adjustable in length through sliding knots and has two antiques wooden beads.  The unique pieces of Fossil Seashells were found by me on a beautiful Malibu beach in California. These pieces are one of a kind having different shapes and colors and no one is equal. During my journeys here I found other beautiful stones and more fossil seashell pieces in different shape, size and thickness. All the precious pieces are part of my personal collection to use for my limited edition or one of a kind jewelry designs.

Wave

Ocean whispers…
I love to think that each seashell spent hundred years of life travelling under the beautiful deep blue waters of the ocean until the waves left them on the shore for me to find and infuse them with my own Art. When I create my jewelry I feel very fortunate that, I can bring these seashells back to shine in a new beautiful life, this time it is outside the blue water for us to admire and treasure them like a unique and precious gifts from Nature.

Pieces of fossil seashells, coral, drift wood, beach pebbles stones, they all are very beautiful natural elements that I love to use for my jewelry designs. You can see more on my Jewelry Portfolio

SKETCHBOOKS are something essential for the evolution and growth of every artist or creative spirit.

You can use  sketchbooks for different purposes and if you are someone like me that likes to express and experiment with creativity in different ways, then, you want to have many of them in different sizes and paper weight, to use with any kind of media you like to work with.

Always have a sketchbook for storing ideas to develop later on and always keep one with you in your bag wherever you go. I also use one for my Poems and Haiku. Sketching is something that I always did since very young age. I always loved to doodle around on any paper I had on handy, also on paper napkins if that was the only paper available…lol
Well when an inspirational idea comes you have to be able to grab it or would be gone forever!
During my years of Art School I used to sketch a lot for Jewelry Design and for other art projects, at that time also I did lots of Fashion Design sketches which I still love to do.

I had a nice and inspiring conversation about the use of sketchbooks with my dearest friend Norwegian Artist Magny Tjelta from the beautiful BlogA Journey Into The Magic of Creativityplease give her a visit her art is beautiful!

I was reading one of Magny latest post about Sketchbooks ideas and I had a question, which I believe many of you has when comes the time to organize your creative thoughts, so I left my question in her comments and here it is…

Me:
Hi Magny, talking about Sketchbooks I like to prompt a question here that will help others and inspire…You have beautiful sketch books! Do you have all your sketch books categorized and dedicated by subjects? Or do you just mix different subjects on each page?

Magny TJelta:
Hi Carolina,
What a great question! Sketch books are very important for developing skills, capturing ideas, trying out new things and lots more.
Firstly I have to admit that, as an artist I am always looking for bargains, and when I see a sketch book at a good price, I can’t resist buying it. I don’t always know what I will do with it, but I always have several sketch books that I am working on at any one time.
I always have one that is for “anything and everything”. I will pop this one in my bag if I am going out with no particular purpose.
I have another that is to help me push my boundaries. It is for 15 minute sketches or paintings of whatever I happen to be looking at. I will use this one at a cafe, or sitting on a bench in the park or even while I’m sitting in the car waiting to pick up my daughter. It means that even the “taxi-mom” journeys can be productive.
At the moment I also have one that is just for flowers, one for travels and holidays, one for faces and perhaps my favorite is my sketchbook for wishful thinking and dream holidays that was made from an old poetry book.

Me:
Thank you Magny for this beautiful answer to my question. I see that we do pretty much the same thing! LoL I love to buy sketchbooks anytime like you and I have many! Every occasion or sale is good to get one more…lol

I find it very inspiring to share with others and I have a question for YOU ” how do you use your sketchbooks?” I really would like to know. I love to hear from you. I’m always pleased and interested nonetheless surprised with the wonderful ideas and insights that my readers share. Please feel free to answer and share your thoughts in the comment space.

50 Words Story – Deep Water

Deep Water

Surrounded by the blue deepest water. The reflections of floating emotions, loaded the mind and body in a fearless state. Tranquillity and silence flying through the broken branches of a life experience, were glowing under the warm sunlight. Suddenly warm rain drops of happiness joined the deep water becoming one.

When souls connect…

Golden Aura
Today I would love to share with you a beautiful post from my lovely Blogger friend Allison at glorybegin.com

Yesterday she was celebrating her Blog Anniversary with this post she wrote:

{Podcast} The Single Most Killer Creative Skill I Mastered by Blogging

It is amazing how we all can connect our creative spirits and souls and be inspired from one another through Blogging! During my last 6 months, the journeys of my Blog YesterdayAfter.com I came across amazing people who inspire and enrich my soul on a daily basis. I got to connect with amazing creative souls around the worls that I would never had chance if wasn’t for my Blog. We all can relate with this beautiful Cosmic connection of our souls. Allison inspired me yesterday with her post, this is why I love Blogging,  while I was leaving her a comment, words just came to me at the point to create a Poem…her reaction touched my heart…because my words went straight to her heart and soul and this is all about when we are sharing Love we encourage, inspire, opens hearts, give happiness…

My comment to Allison post:
This is so beautiful Allison ❤ Happy Anniversary! I am truly happy to be part of your journeys as you are part of mine, I love what you are doing and I truly love to hear your voice with your podcast, it is one of my dear places where I go when I need to hear enrichment for my soul, and a place where I can relax closing my eyes, listening to your beautiful words. I am agree with everything you just said in this post. I am an artist and creative soul which I express my creativity in many ways, willingly to reach the heart and souls deeply, with my creations of every kind and my greatest gift is when someone tells me, that got inspired by my art and me. I started my Blog 6 months ago I learned a lot too, and I love it so much to interact with other great souls around the world. I was afraid at first, I felt like I was just a drop in the ocean…and I would never be seen, but then one day I did my jump into the water and started to swim with passion giving out everything, my words, my art, my soul and letting go free. I had beautiful response and amazing people came to my way which I connect every day, including you!
After I listened to your Podcast today, I was inspired to write something for you in celebration.
This is for you with love and light:

Dear Allison
ray of beautiful light expanding through the universe,
filled with love and joy.
Expressing your inner soul to us
through your precious words,
how glowing is a creative way to spread love and light.
Opening your wings and letting go
your amazing truth of love flowing in the air,
and become one with our cosmos.
We all are one and truth with our creativity to be
spread from our hearts, like seeds in the wind
to reach unexpected and amazing places,
let go your seeds free…let go…let go…

Love
Carolina

Allison response:
Ohhh Carolina!!!!
Your INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL AND AMAZING comment just came through!! When I saw it earlier it was just the first line!
Oh My God. Babe – beautiful soul sister, I am in awe of YOU. Your words, your spirit, your brilliant radiating energy – you humble me. I literally have tears in my eyes reading this (I read it like five times, dear friend.
I have written your beautiful poem in my personal journal where I keep all things that speak to me when I need to hear voices of the angels. You are an ANGEL to me, I hope you know this.
Please let me know that you saw my reply here because your comment will stay with me always, always. I’m sorry I didn’t see the whole thing until now – I don’t know what happened.
I could never thank you enough for being YOU! Keep shining and spreading your gorgeous art, okay? Don’t you ever stop. The word needs the light you bring, my love.
Biggest hugs and so much, so much love, always,

Allison XOXO
I wanted to share this, to encourage and inspire others!

Digital Art – When Nature Meets Humans – Portrait #6

Portrait #6 Ewian

“WHEN NATURE MEETS HUMANS”
Digital Portraits Collection

Portrait #6
– EWIAN –

Today I am sharing with you my New Portrait for this unique Digital Art Collection “When Nature Meets Humans” created out of digital photo-manipulation, each portrait is a blend of multiple photos representing nature and persons. I started to develop this concept about two months ago and since then I created  five unique portraits.

This is Portrait #6 – EWIAN

Last week Ewian was the Featured on my “Weekly Featured Blogs Event” taking place every Saturday, if you missed the post you can see it here.
Ewian is a great music composer from Germany and his beautiful music and videos, inspired me on creating my new Portrait for this unique Collection. A black and white portrait in connection and symbiosis, reflecting  Ewian style and Alternative Post-Rock music.
I used some of the great photos found on EWIAN Blog blended with photos of the “Black Forest” located in Germany. This beautiful forest rapresent the nature greately.
I like to experiment and continually evolve with my Art and creativity. From years I love to work in digital searching and testing new ways of visualization. I love Photography and like to work with photos, manipulating images and transforming them with my personal artistic touch. You can see the other 5 Portraits in a Gallery here.

I love this idea to mix nature with humans and create some unique and very different kinds of portraits…This Collection is created mostly for my own Artistic purpose and to share with you some of my digital abilities.

If you’re interested in purchase a custom and unique portrait like the ones in this Collection you can do it here on my new page Shop Custom Digital Portraits. I will create your own personal and unique custom Digital Art Portrait, for info and details please contact me or visit my new page.

As always I love your comments!
