Soul Love

I was having a hard time a few weeks back- being cut off from some people I really love for no particular reason- I fell into a slump- an unloved sad little slump. Poking around my favorite sites I saw a post by the lovely Carolina at yesterdayafter. If you don’t already know or haven’t seen (please please look) Carolina makes her own incredible jewelry. That night she had posted a Rose Quartz- did you know Rose quartz is termed the “love stone”? It’s also called the bohemian Ruby- hello! How awesome is that?!

We got to sharing about the healing properties it brings. Carolina is educated in all of this btw- she’s amazing. So she began to make me my own- she spent the week pouring soul love into this ring for me. It was not something cool I picked up at a random shop- this was made…

Designing a great match…

All my Jewelry Designs are single pieces created to have a life and standing on their own beautifully in their unique and unexpected combination of natural elements. All my creations can be combined together also if they aren’t created as sets. I like the idea to give the ability to mix and match pieces between them, or stack them together creating your own story that can be changed anytime you wear my Art.
Usually the beautiful natural gemstones I use in my designs are all a possibility of infinite combinations of colors, shapes or based on meanings that goes beyond the stones.

I like to title and give names to my Jewelry
and create a story for each piece, based on the meanings and natural powers that nature has.

Nature and natural elements are what inspire me the most in this Jewelry Collection named
“AMONG NATURE”

Each design is created as One of a Kind or in Limited Edition and Made to Order

I thrive to create unique and recognizable designs and work of art.

I wrote this poem “Hands” not long ago…

Hands
Artist precious hands,
intensity and love givers.

Hands guided by a heart pulse,
forging and hammering metals,
holding precious stones.

Inspiration from the soul,
happiness and art givers,
emotions in a motion of senses.

stroking brushes fulfilled with passion,
dripping water on white paper,
splashes of colors take forms.

Ink tears into the unknown
a creation is born.

New Design – Soothing Fire

During this week I have been working on several projects.
and I am happy to introduce and debut my new design a powerful necklace.
I named this necklace “Soothing Fire” and it is part of the Among Nature Jewelry Collection 2015

I loved to create this design forging and hammering the wire with a twist on the top part of the pendant.
This pendant is made in three parts and like in all of my creations there is no soldering anywhere.
I used a beautiful selection of natural gemstones,
Amethyst in different shades from pale to intense purple color, and four faceted Crystals
yellow Citrine and smoky Quartz in several shades.
I gave this creation the name Soothing Fire because
the Amethyst it is a beautiful purple quartz and emits the positive power of soothing and calming.
The yellow Citrine it is a variety of quartz and the color goes from pale yellow to intense orange and like the fire emits positive and enlightening energy and dispel negativity.

Sketching Realistic Eyes

I enjoy sketching in general, this time is not one of my jewelry sketches. I am working and having fun sketching realistic eyes, it is amazing the effect that can turn out just playing with a HB #2 pencil and a couple of pastels to give a hint of color. I made this sketch pretty quickly, so it is a very rough drawing. I am planning to make some more high definition ones. If you step back a bit from your screen you will see that this eye it is pretty realistic!

The Circle of Life – Pendant

Talking about Photography….

0ften I get questions about my jewelry photographs. What inspire me to showcase my creations the way I do. As you can see from some of the photos posted from the beginning of this Blog I love photography! Yes I really do! I love that I can catch the moment and it will stay forever with a beautiful photo. That alone it is very inspiring to me. Awakening that instinctive creativity guided from my inner soul to get a great shot. I consider Photography another great Artistic way of expression and I love to use photos for my Digital Art. In Photography I am an “Amateur” if I can say that :-) <3
I love to stage and take all the photos for my Jewelry Design you can see them in the gallery Jewelry Portfolio. Each photo is inspired by the moment, by the Jewel itself and by the story behind my creation. When I stage a photo I love to add natural elements like stones, leaves, fossils, flowers. I take all the photos without flash. I like the natural light, some photos are staged outdoors and some indoor. When I am outdoor I wait that the sun go almost down like a pre-sunset light, or I wait for some cloudy days for a more soft light. I just love the whole creative process and I hope that you enjoy all my photos!
